I have wanted to buy this product since I have seen it featured in various fashion mags as product of the year. So glad that I did. Bought the base and top coats, but haven't tried the base yet because the top coat has extended my mani polish for many days. Love the top coat as a do-it-yourself touch up at home. The consistency is smooth, the finish is glossy and it dries so quickly. I have really strong nails that are prone to chipping because I am not super careful with my manicures. No chips so far and Maxus has definitely made my nails even stronger. I usually buy more expensive nail polishes (i.e., Debbie Lippman, Ciate, Chanel) and really happy to find a reasonably priced, quality product to protect the color. Packaging is also upscale. Great buy! Your nails will thank you.

This is my second time buying this top coat. It's everything it's cracked up to be.I have some pretty brittle nails from getting gel manicures and being too lazy to take them off correctly. I've started doing my own nails and I use the Maxus base coat, 2 coats of whatever polish I have on hand (the Maxus polish is bomb too btw), and this top coat and my nails are perfectly shiny (just like gel polish) with no chips for DAYS afterwards. It also dries so quickly which is a huge plus as I am incredibly impatient. It also has a great brush and glides on in a smooth, even coat--not goopy like other top coats I've tried.Since my nails are prone to breakage and chipping it is a god damn MIRACLE that I get five full days without ANY chipping. I also feel as though my nails are getting healthier as I use these products.Could not recommend this top coat more! If you're on the fence... do it!

My nails are extremely thin and brittle. To the point that I avoid regular manicures, because it is a waste of money for me, since they chip almost immediately. Gel manicures do offer a solution for longevity, but they are terrible for my nails, so I end up in a worse place than I started! After hearing about Maxus from a couple of friends, and being intrigued by the non-toxicity of the ingredients, I decided to give them a try.First, the packaging is really fresh and pretty. I'm a sucker for great packaging! I ordered the base coat, a color, and top coat. Shipping was speedy. I received the package in just a few days. Took all three bottles to the salon for a regular manicure and crossed my fingers. I do have to say that I was a little surprised that the color bottle was smaller than the top coat and base coal bottles. I guess I expected them to all be the same size.My manicurist commented on the prettiness of the shade. But then she ALSO commented on the viscosity! She said it was not thick like she expected the dark color to be. It glided on, but was not translucent. We didn't need to compensate with more layers than usual. She was pleased to work with the product. Three days after manicure is when the color finally started to chip a little. I didn't change my routine, and washed hands often. I was please the color stayed! What I am more pleased with however, is the fact that my nails ALREADY feel stronger. Not paper thin and peeling like they usually are! I am even considering just using the base coat and top coat sometimes, without the color, just to keep my nails growing strong and healthy. And I love knowing that the ingredients Maxus uses are actually good for me. A+ Will continue using this product!

I get my nails done every other week and I take this with me for her to use on my nails. The shine does seem to be lasting longer than with other Top Coats & it does dry a little faster than the others. This bottle will last a long time for me, but will probably get it again when it finally does run out.

All that did was waste money on top coats I'll never use. Maybe it's my nail chemistry, maybe it's my wonky collagen syndrome, maybe it's the elevation or humidity of my area.Whatever it is, my nails love this stuff like no other.Oh! I forgot about bubbles. Prolly cuz there aren't any.

I've been using OPI and generic salon brands for as long as I can remember, but Maxus is a game changer!!! My manicures last about twice as long with Maxus as with my normal routine and my nails look a million times better! I've been using the base coat, the nail polish sets (LOVE the colors), and the top coat when going to my regular salon. The nail polish stays strong and doesn't chip. My natural nails look great! Even my regular manicurist is impressed with the quality of this product. I absolutely LOVE it and would highly recommend (and do) to all of my friends. It's really a worthwhile investment for any woman who wants healthy nails, a lasting manicure and doesn't want to kill them with a gel manicure.
