When our original Acer Aspire charger became inoperable, we ordered a Replacement AC Adapter made by the DongGuan Simer Electronics, China. The Replacement Adapter's female plug fit the male in the computer as well as the original and the unit started to charge the laptop's battery from the get-go. The quality and efficiency of the unit is evident and cannot be differentiated from the original. We highly recommend this replacement laptop charger as it's quality and effectiveness, plus the fact that's at a reasonable price makes it very attractive.

works as intended. the plug into device is a bit looser when plugging in than the factory but it holds and stays in fine. charges with no issues.

I guess I need to pay more attention to the small details like the exact model number of my laptop, and not just search for acer aspire 5. The tip is too small, it inserts into my laptop but the fit is loose and the charger just falls back out. I just bought this charger and one from a different brand to replace my original acer charger, that I hoped to have as a spare/backup. I have rated the other charger too. I will not be returning either one, just passing them along to someone who can use them. I was in a hurry when I made these purchases, because my damaged charger is cutting in and out and is now scotch-taped in place so I can still use my laptop. I was so disappointed when the chargers came and didn't fit. I found my full model number a515 43 r19l, and found a charger whose tip matches my original charger.

Perfect just what I needed to solve my problem and I do like the fact that it lights up when it's on the last one I had did not light up so ultimately I wasn't sure if it was my laptop laptop battery or the cord I crossed my fingers hoping it was the cord and it definitely was because as soon as this one arrived it lit up plugged in and charged my laptop awesome thank you! It was definitely a good value it is not hot at all while it's charging and again I like the functionality of the light on it and it charges fast

Got it to replace the charger I forgot on a trip. So far, seems to fit and is powering up my Acer A515-46. Due to the number of different Acer models and chargers, I came to realize that I couldn't be 100 percent sure this would work. Because I needed backup to this backup, I brought a second unit from a second seller - for a few dollars less. Both chargers appear identical, however one of them seems to fit just a bit better. Given that they are identical in every way, I have to assume the fit was just a question of factory variances. Both work and I'm keeping both, since they're less expensive than anything at a retailer.

Extremely works perfect happy still using

I purchased a compatible charging cable from a local electronic store, but it kept coming loose quite frequently. I didn't notice until my laptop warned me that the battery is low. The local store obviously didn't know that there are different ends. The right one should "click" into place. The one I bought through Amazon has not fallen out since I plugged it a couple of weeks ago and used it at least five hours a day. And the price was lower than the one that wasn't the right one.

This is the second time I bought this. We have a puppy and apparently I am a slow learner to pack up my stuff when I work from home and leave the pup unattended for lengths of time in the same room 🤷‍♀️ If you ever need a replacement and your laptop is in the compatible list, don't worry. They work!

The fit is very loose so it keeps falling out, and the transformer gets very hot. Not recommended.

So, finally find a solution after struggling with a faulty laptop charger. I'm glad you found one that worked for you in the end. Being able to use your laptop again must have been a huge relief after a month of dealing with this issue. It's like a weight lifted off your shoulders when technology troubles get sorted out!
