Schultz SPF44900 African Violet Plus Liquid Plant Food 8-14-9, 4 Ounce

Im not a great Review writer bc I'm skeptical about everything (it happens after living a long time,lol). But when its good I love sharing great experiences w/great products. This liquid plant food has revived my AVs. They are blooming regularly, beautiful full flowers. Of course, its up to *you* how well you take care of your AVs, which I do consciously. A dding this to a small, glass water [creamer] and keeping it + your tools sanitized, keeping gnats away + treating soil for larvae, watering less often than more you will be thrilled at the results. Ive tried every product "out there" and this Schultz AV Liquid... Plus is by far the best. NOTE: Contrary to the instructions, I do not feed every time I water and when I do, I use less than the recommended Dropper dose. I have 2-3 AVs in gift type baskets. I poked holes thru the plastic liners for drainage and use yellow stickies to catch adult gnats. I carefully treat the soil with a Water/Peroxide mix and spray into soil verryy carefully. Im about to order the Schultz Liquid for my Orchids which seem to be languishing and/or have a fungal disease. The food will be a "boost" not a cure.

It worked well for me. I followed directions as well as using my own knowledge. I have grown African Violets for many years, but this was the first time to use Schultz SPF4900 African Violet Plus Liquid Plant Food.

Great for my African Violets. They are thriving. Short-term dormant time I think, blooms are vivid.

This is a good product for violets. The only drawback for me is having to mix it up in water and then end up wasting some as I have too much for my three violets. I wish there was a premixed version of this I could just apply with a little eyedropper or other measuring/application device and the rest would stay good in the bottle. Still, Schultz is a good, long-standing and reputable manufacturer of plant food, so I trust them.

This is food for African Violets, and it works like a charm. When I use this, the flowers perk up. You can feed them pretty often. I have 10 African Violets and a couple that I cloned, and they've been with me for years. This food has been around forever, and that's proof that it works. I have very healthy plants, and my plants make me feel good. It's very easy to use. Just 7 drops in 32 ounces of water, I use a small watering can. You can't go wrong with this product.

My African violets, hoya carnosa, anthurium and orchids bloom profusely after feeding with Schultz African Violet food. I highly recommend this product.

I've been buying this product from my local grocery store for over 20 years. I think it's a miracle product! My only complaint is the container appears to be half the size it was 3 years ago and 4 times the price. Even so, I highly recommend this product. I've used it on Geraniums, Spider Plants, African Violets, Norfolk Island Pines, Ivy plants, and others. All my plants have thrived. My Geranium plants bloomed all year long (yes I keep them indoors!) and my Spider plant had tons of babies. I clean an emptied gallon milk jug and fill it with filtered water. Then I add 7 drops per quart or liter and let it sit. I water my plants with it once per week.

Use this every time I water. My plant flowers for several months and does so twice a year.
