Works great
I’ve set up 5 or 6 of these. You can cut this wire and splice in a cat 5 cable and make the wire as long as you want. I’ve run them up walls and through attics and into other rooms and closets where the cable box was hidden.

The tape on them sucks but it works good.
I used other foam tape. It did not stick well. But the repeating works great.

Effective IR repeater
This works as advertised. My only criticism is that there is a led visible at all times. I would prefer if it lit only when receiving a signal from a remote.

Awesome little gadget.
What a giant convenience this little gadget is, I love it! I have the receiving end placed on an HDMI switch back where I don't want to see it but still need that functionality of being able to point the remote in that direction and change input channels between devices. I have a PS5, Roku Ultra 2020 and a region free Oppo Bluray player all connected to the switch and this little remote extender is perfect. It doesn't come with a wall plug but the USB end that powers it just plugs into a USB port on your TV and you place the receiving end directly on top of the IR window on the device you're trying to control with the attached sticky and then routed the other end wherever you need it to go and your able to control that device remotely (no pun intended). The only caveat I have with it is the sticky film on the receiving end that I place directly on top of the device I'm trying to control, it's not sticky enough so I just took a small strip of Gorilla tape and placed it over top of the receiving end and the switch and presto it's stuck to it.All-in all a nice little gadget.

Used to relay signal behind entertainment stand
I needed to relay an IR signal received in front of the entertainment stand to some equipment that is fully behind it and can't get a signal on it's own. This device took care of that, as I taped one of the transmitters to the device behind that the that needed the signal and it relays it every time. The receiving end's light blinks when it receives commands that lets you know it is working and helps with any troubleshooting.

Works as described.
Sound bar was blocking the remote to new TV. This item fixed the problem 100%. A lot cheaper than buying a new sound bar.

Works great even from 30 feet away.
The media could not be loaded. I have a Halloween prop with a projector mounted inside the base of a tombstone. I used this IR repeater to be able to control the projector without having to open up the tombstone. Works great. It’s not meant for outdoor use, so I put a bead of caulking all around the receiver especially where the wires come out. The receiver is small enough that it’s not noticeable.

NOT 3m it is ONLY TWO METERS
The description implies 3M in the heading and "Cord Length (IR Receiver): 3 Meter" in the description but the distance between the IR components is ONLY TWO METERS. This makes it no better than other less costly and better rated devices.Additionally, for the LED; it is faint green glow on the one I got and it does NOT blink when receiving a signal. I have tried with multiple USB power supplies incase it was power related. But doesn't make a difference. Personally as long as the LED isn't too bright, this is less important for me.I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in the length since it required me cut a new hole in my entertainment setup to make sure it would reach. I have seen other products where people added their own wire to make it longer but drilling a hole was easier.FYI, if you have issues getting it to transmit, make sure you point the end of the transmitter to your device, not the side (which is what I assumed based on the way the sticky tape is on the transmitter).I have been using it now for a few hours and seems responsive enough.

Does exactly what similar products costing 3 times as much do.
I was hesitant buying this as it was at least a third of the cost of similar products. I figured worth the risk and write off the expense as a lesson learned. To my pleasant surprise this works perfectly. Simply "plug and play" use and saved money than buying some that cost more than 3 times the price and does same job.

Works great for what I need it to do
This IR repeater is compact and easy to setup. Works great on my satellite receiver so that it can be tucked away out of sight.Only downside so far is that it was shipped via Canada Post and as usual with CP there were delays in shipping "failed deliveries," and issues with notifications.Fine quality inexpensive unit of non professional quality for non professional use. Terrible shipping due to Canada Post.

Wide range with perfect accuracy
This devices works great. I'm currently using it on my Xbox Series X and cable TV set top box. Attaching the sensor to the devices requires some accuracy and precision. Once you find that sweet spot the IR receiver works better than the devices. The sensor has a wide range of view and never misses a keypress.Cons, the green led on the IR receiver is really bright.
