I now 100% recommend this product just as it is! Previous review: Other people have said it, I’m saying it, I’ve talked to people in store at Ulta about it (when they still carried this product), THE DROPPER ON THIS PRODUCT SUCKS!!!!! But be that as it may, the product is fantastic!!! I have gone through 4 bottles of this and am on my 5th. I finally ditched the original packaging and bought an empty glass bottle with a pump (1 fl oz here on Amazon) because I was so sick and tired of dealing with the packaging and now when I get a new bottle it goes straight into the bottle that the pump goes into! The serum is great to my skin, calming and moisturizing. There’s no scent and the price is great. I typically take about 3 months to go through a bottle of it, though sometimes it’s two in the winter. I can tell when I’m not using this serum. My skin looks different. If you want to give it a try, I’d definitely recommend it, and if you like it, just go ahead and buy an empty bottle with a pump. It will save you hassle and frustration.

When I opened the reviews before buying this serum I was anticipating having to replace the cap it comes with but I don't believe I'll have to. The cap works perfectly fine, it's just that this is a thicker, slightly slimy serum so you're not going to get a whole full dropper of it. I think even a non push top dropper would have a hard time picking up a bigger amount. That said, back to the texture: it's extremely slimy. If that consistency in a product bothers you or is something you highly dislike this may not be the serum for you. I nearly put it right back in the box to return when I opened it and saw it looked more like a slugs slime than a typical watery serum, it's very unappealing to the eyes. But even so, it does what it claims to do. I've been using a retinol (if you're over 25 please start using one, a retinol can solve about 90% of general skin issues and make you look younger. I'm 27, everyone consistently believes I'm 18 or 19 at most and I've even had my ID declined because they thought I looked much younger than I am. Seriously, use the retinol) and it's left me with dry skin, as retinol will do because it speeds up cell turnover. I've tried various thick creams to try and combat the dryness but nothing has really worked, so I thought why not try adding a moisturizing serum into my regimen? And I'm very glad I did, because now I no longer have those stubborn areas of dry skin that seemed to resist all cream moisturizers. It adds a lovely glow to the skin without being greasy or just sitting on top. I could feel it sinking into my skin as I was applying it, that was extremely impressive to me. It has no scent and I haven't experienced any irritation so I think it plays well with the other products I use in my skincare routine. The bottle is very small, so I wouldn't call it a good value for the price. It's true you can find other comparable serums at a similar price but in larger sizes so if that's a factor in your purchase I wouldn't buy this and would instead look at other serums that come in a larger size for a similar price.

Overall 9/10. I had really wanted to try this line as I have been struggling with sensitivity due to using retinoids, so finally took the plunge and bought all 3. For reference, I have sensitive dry skin with hormonal breakouts, and typically only use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and Cerave moisturizing cream (also a physical sunscreen). Serum: 9/10 Love this. Irritated skin is instantly soothed upon application. My favorite use of this is in the evenings, usually right when I get out of the shower, followed by Cerave moisturizing cream, followed by a RX retinoid. I also found it to be really nice for a moisture boost/pick me up during the day, on those work-from-home days where I’m not wearing any makeup. Only knocking off a star bc the dropper is kind of awkward to use, and it’s a bit pricey for the amount you get- although a very small amount goes a long way. Most likely will repurchase. Cleanser: 10/10 Just WOW. If you have sensitive skin, you need to try this. It is even gentler (yet still effective at cleansing) than Cetaphil or Cerave cleansers. I was even having some stinging with those, but not with this. Will 100% repurchase. I wish it was more product for the price though. Gel moisturizer: 4/10 I was not a fan of this. I did have a small amount of irritation trying this, but I also have super sensitive skin. It goes on very smoothly, but I feel like if you have dry skin you will need to use a lot for each application, and there’s just such a small amount for what you pay. I suppose this is from me being spoiled by how well Cerave Moisturizing cream works and the price for what you get? I also didn’t like the way it felt like something was sitting on top of my skin. Pretty hard to describe but I won’t be buying this ever again (gave the rest of the tub to a friend).

This is my favorite face serum. Easily. It's the perfect texture. No crazy smell. Soft and silky. It works really well with my face toning tools. I absolutely love that it never bothers my skin or gives me any irritation. The one thing I will say is the dropper is a menace to society. It doesn't work well at all. I was able to use it by just dipping it into the liquid and letting serum fall off the dropper, not from squeezing but sheer gravity, but once you start to get low that doesn't work anymore. I had no choice but to start tapping it out, which honestly drives me crazy, but of course I will do it to get that sweet sweet nectar. Its a great value. I will continue to use it for years, but I will also continue to gripe about the dropper until it gets fixed :P

I have: Hormonal acne prone Sensitive Combo skin. After years of trying to figure out what is causing my acne, I realize 'skin cycling'worked for my skin which is basically applying what you feel your skin needs at that moment. This serum really helps when my skin feels it needs relief from the exfoliation from prior days or irritation from acne products. It also goes great with hyaluronic acid or snail mucin for hydration. It never stings. It's consistency is like a creamy goo but never heavy on the face or sticky. I use about 3 drops and it enough to cover a thin layer over your face. Also really like that it has no scent. It's a great product BUT I hate the container it is in. The pump is inefficient at getting the product out when you've use half the product. Once the pump is no longer useful, you have to make sure you store the bottle upside down or else it'll take you forever to get product out for your next use. Aveeno, for a company that focus on all natural ingredients, your packaging has too much bells and whistles, distracting your consumers from fully enjoying your products. I don't if it's just the Aveeno Oats line of products but there is just too much plastic as well.

I've been using this product almost daily for about two months and I find that it really helps with dry skin and for sensitive skin. The cold months has not been very kind to my skin, especially to my face, but after using this my face as improved a lot! For some context, I have oily skin on my face and ezcema on my body. Several months ago, my face became extremely dry, flaky, and itchy and progressively became worse as fall and winter started. I also had some days where my face would get really sensitive and red to a point where I couldn't have my own hair touch my face. Using a gentle facial cleanser and moisturizer was not enough to quench my skin as it would always get dry again shortly after moisturizing. When I started using this serum, I would use 2-3 drops and rub it on my face after cleansing every day in the morning and then at night. After letting it dry, I would then follow up with my aveeno intense moisture lotion. I noticed that my face stayed moisturized and flake-free the entire day. The serum also didn't make my face into a red frenzy. After several days, my skin has improved and was able to retain moisture without it being flakier than a croissant. The random days of having a red, sensitive face was gone as well. Eventually, after a few weeks, I would use only 1 drop twice a day. I have also used a drop on a dry patch on my palm that I've had this past month and the dryness also went away in a few days. The consistency of this serum is that of a wet lotion. It soaks up into your skin pretty fast as well, and there is no heavy residue or oily feeling. I almost didn't want to buy this at first because of the price, but I'm glad that I did. It only took a few weeks to bring my skin back to it was before these dreadful cold months. I'm about halfway through my bottle and would definitely purchase again.

I wanted to love this. It dos help with redness but at the cost of breaking out. It is a very easy to apply gel, non-greasy and soothing. It’s a small bottle but a little goes a long way. I have super sensitive skin and prone to breakouts. I thought this would be good for my sensitive skin. It does feel good in the skin but the breakouts will cause me to pass it on to a friend or family member with less sensitive skin.

I have really liked using the product. It was recommended by a dermatologist to add to my skin care routine. It is soft and blends in well to my skin. Sometimes I get a bottle with a dropper and it's hard to get all the product out but the newer bottles have a pump. There is no smell and it is not greasy.
