The media could not be loaded. My 8 year old son flew his new shark kite at the beach today and he really didn't need my help to get it in the air. It just seems to take off on its own. We did have some good steady wind though and we got it very high. When the wind was calmer, it was not as easy, but I think this is true with any kite. I do have to say that it was easier then most kites I have flown as a child at the beach. Easy to control and it finds the wind perfectly. We didn't notice any nose diving. It did fall tail down most of the time if the wind dropped. Otherwise, it stayed in the air. The string was strong enough to withstand the toughest of wind we got later in the day. It was also very easy to put together with the directions, but it might be more helpful for some if they labeled the sticks. It is a strong kite though and the stitches are strong enough to hold up for many flights. It definitely holds the sticks well.Even with no wind, I think it would be enjoyable for any child to run with this kite because it's just a fun kite! The beautiful colors looked so amazing in the sky. We will hang the kite in my son's room too, when not in use. It's really eye catching and unique!Definitely try it out with no worries. Just be patient with the wind and go out a different day if you aren't successful the first time.

Received overnight what a plus! Haven’t flown it yet but my 4 yr old is very excited to fly her first kite! It came just as pictured and was very easy to set up. Certainly worth the price of countless fun with your toddlers and older kids too.

Cool looking kite. Easy to put together and get into the air. The only issue I have is that you can't leave the kite and need to watch it while it's in the air.

This was a great little kite for my granddaughter at the beach. It was her first kite and it was easy to use. Everyone enjoyed it.

You need a REALLY strong wind for this kite. If not, it’ll just nose dive into the ground and you can’t stop it. We’ve used it twice. First time wasn’t too bad but it was REALLY windy. Last night, even I couldn’t keep it in the air for more than 30 seconds before it would nose dive. If I can’t keep it on the air, my 4 year old son certainly can’t!!
