First trip to the beach with these kites. It was a pretty calm day with maybe 5-7mph winds.The octopus was up in under a minute. Flies easily. I had it tied off to our shade for most of the day and the kite just stayed up the whole time. At one time, our toddler was holding the kite and let go. The octopus fell on the cypress on the left and I'm not sure if it was luck, but I was able to just pull on the line and the octopus came right out of the tree. And was flying again on its own. (Note, there were at least 4 kites in the kites behind us, so either it was pure lucky or the other kites just had a design that made them more prone to being stuck. You can easily pack this and make it fit in your jacket pocket or almost fit entirely in your back jeans pocket.The delta took a bit more work to get flying and to stay up in the air. Still fun, and probably a bit more interactive as you need to be more attentive with this one. It could be that it just needed to be windier that day. This can roll up pretty small, but will be tall because of the spine.All in all, for the price, these are great kites.

The media could not be loaded.  Both were easy to assemble! Excellent material and the colors are super vibrate! With the Octopus all you had to do was attach the string and up it went, my 5 yr old son was easily able to keep a good grip on it, the rainbow flyer was alil harder to keep stable, that one tugged quite a bit and wanted to be alil more out of control, even slipped out of my hand once but I'm sure it had everything to do with the amount of wind we were having that day, either way we had SUCH A BLAST with these for about an hr! Easy to disassemble and pack back up for the next use!! I'll def be purchasing these again when I have to!

They both work. The Octopus has no frame and flies well. The other was difficult to load the one stick to make it work. We eventually broke the stick trying to get it to fit. Otherwise, they were fun for my 6 and 8 year old on the beach and were still a great value.

I bought these kites after giving up on the cheap plastic ones. Totally worth the money! The octopus kite was the favorite of all 3 of my kids (ages 7, 4, and 2). It was so easy to fly and the wiggly eyeballs had us in giggles. We flew them on a day with 10-15 mph winds and didn't have any issues at all. I flew them both as high as I could, but my 4 year old loved keeping the octopus only about 10 feet in the air and it had no problems flying that low. I've only used them once, so I can't speak for their longevity, but so far so good!

The Red Octopus KITE is useless. The Multicolored Kite is JUNK. The plastic rods they give you to assemble the kite keeps breaking. I kept on reaming out the metal holder which holds the plastic rod. After placing the rod back in holder, the plastic rod kept on breaking. Thus making the plastic rod shorter each time. I just now used the kites . I can't return since I purchased them months ago.

the Octopus shaped Kite, did not fly very well was very hard to get started and keep up. the other one flew very well and easy but was a pain to put together. All in all for a beach trip was pretty fun.

The octopus was the easiest and highest flying kite we had at the beach. This is our second purchase to be sure we had one for our next trip.

These were great. Easy to set up, and flew instantly. Had them at the beach on vacay and there were great.
