Concerned about scratches. Does this product get scratches? I know there is another board on this site by Royal which is scratchless.

After over 3 months using it there have been no scratches

How often do these need oiled?

Can’t tell you how much I love these boards! I use Cuttingboard.com’s Food Grade Mineral Oil and Natural Wood a wax that I got from Amazon. (Get the bundle with applicator and polishing pads). I think it’s once a month or as needed.

I know olive oil is recommended by the manufacturer, but is food grade mineral oil equally safe / recommended?

I use food grade mineral oil on my boards. Olive oil can go rancid even if it's absorbed into the wood. It's not dangerous but can impart a nasty taste into your food.
