Each plum is individually wrapped. Don’t know what the X4 means. If you’re seriously interested in buying pickled plums, you might want to check at Japan food stores in your area. These are sold from Japan and cost about 3X’s more. The Japan food stores in Las Vegas sell for about $2-$3 per bag.

Q: What are the ingredients in addition to umeboshi?

This is a small, salty, sour pickled plum. It has a crunchy consistency and a pit (seed) in the middle. It is really good as a beer snack and is purported to be healthy and good for you. I just like the way they taste. Ingredients are salt, vinegar, and some other stuff that I can't read because its in Japanese. I don't think you should buy any because that leaves more for me.
