Please start selling it in stores
I’ve tried several motor oils over the years, and MOTUL 8100 X-Cess Gen 2 is hands down better than the typical American brands you find on store shelves. I only wish it was more widely available in local stores, because it’s been a perfect match for my 2012 VW with the 2.0T engine. The oil keeps the engine running smoothly and consistently, even with the known quirks and flaws of the 2.0T. Cold starts are clean, the engine runs quieter, and I’ve noticed better overall performance compared to when I was using domestic oils. The protection it offers under higher heat and longer drives also feels superior. The 5-liter bottle is convenient for a complete oil change, and the quality speaks for itself. If you drive a European car—or just want a premium oil that truly performs—MOTUL is worth it. It’s one of those products that makes a noticeable difference.

Perfect oil for the Porsche 911
My 996.2 came loaded with Liqui Moly and well taken care of, engine did burn some oil as it normal. Than forced into Mobile 1 by an old skool German mechanic and than other indy put Motul and I was hooked with this oil. Yes it burned but engine drives great and oil is clean. I bought 2 jugs had the Indy put in Motul and mechanic said the prevoius Motul came out clean with no debris. Yeah pricey at $100+ but so is a Porsche engine.

No other oil needed
This is the only oil that I run in my single turbo BMW 335i. Have never had an issue with the oil and keeps the engine quiet. I highly recommend this oil in turbo cars that seem to run hot. It has done great protecting my cars engine.
