MOTUL 8100 X-Cess Gen 2 SAE 5W40 Full Synthetic Motor Engine Oil 5 Liter Bottle

I run it in all 3 of my Subarus. Ones a 2.5i 4 cylinder, ones a 3.6R 6 cylinder and one has a closed deck block and puts down 700 at all 4 wheels. it keeps those boxer engines nice and happy. I've run X-cess since the Gen 1 blend and it has always been quality oil in my book. I got worried when they announced Gen 2 thinking maybe the quality would go down. It has not and possibly even improved, I love the stuff and will continue to use it. Much cleaner and more additives than rotella I think too.

Best oil for turbos

This stuff is far superior than the top shelf parts store oil I'd always used in my wives Jetta. Immediately following the first oil change with this stuff I could hear the difference in how it ran. Even on a well maintained 2020 Jetta that has always ran smooth - no knocks or anything. Sounds better on this stuff than the day we drove it off the lot. This is the only oil that I'll use anymore. Your car will thank you.
