nicknack 3D Wooden Puzzle Clock for Adults, Laser Cut Model Kits - Large Baroque Pendulum Clock, Light

I was quite excited to build this clock, photos show it nicely detailed and a credible talking point.I have my own laser printer and wanted to compare quality of pieces and material.Nicely packaged only 3 sheets of laser cut material, very well cut and defined, pieces are numbered at edges and with minimal force can be pushed out easily.** My tip here is use a flat surface to rest on and i used the edge Not tip of a small Phillips screwdriver against the face, this is helpful so you do not put too much pressure on any point as there are some very intricate thin areas, Check both sides where you are going to apply pressure to see if the laser has cut all the way through, this will reduce the stress at that point and avoid breaking or pulling the face material off. The material is like a thin laminate.Pieces all removed successfully and there are a few spares for the more smaller and more vulnerable joiners. Apply even pressure to the joint bearing in mind they are brittle and take your time. I would say 99% of the pieces went in with little effort and a distinguishable click was heard to confirm this. NO Glue is necessary, Nor is there a need for tapping or using a hammer! A needle file is probably all you need just to clean a tab if it is tight.** Another tip: there are several pieces that are identically numbered and although they are the same if you find one to be tight in fitting swap them around. My experience in using laser cutting patterns has shown some will go in a particular orientation or a matched 'tab' hole more easily and avoid breaking a part.This is a good and fun piece to make and the instructions are in colour and relatively straight forward to follow.Build time around 1 hour and it runs silent, i like the 'Second hand' so at least you can see it working. There is an Thin Acrylic clock face ( known as PMMA) on the instructions, as others have said not really needed but may protect clock hands from 'Little fingers'!!!To Sum up:Do not be heavy handed or rush to push out pieces there are after all only 47. Good value for money. Well designed.Very pleased with result

I loved doing this clock model. It was a lot bigger than I thought so that was a bonus. The pieces were made very well and easy to remove, it took no time to put together and looks amazing. I can't wait to purchase a different model from them very soon. Its been the best model so far and the quality of the wood is perfect. I didn't think it would be of good quality but I was so wrong. Its a beautiful working clock that I put together. I love it. Thank you.

This kit was fun to build and the end result is a very handsome looking clock. The pieces pushed out very easily and slotted together tight enough so as not to wobble. I really like the colour of the wood finish used but there is a down side. The hands provided for the clock are black and are difficult to see against the dark wood finish, a quick repaint with some white Revell model paint soon solved this issue. My only other negative is the clear plastic disk in the kit to go over the clock face was very foggy and spoiled the look of the clock, but it's simply a case of not using it and to be honest I think it looks better without. A great kit that gives you something useful at the end, would make a great Xmas / birthday gift.

I like it better without the clock face in it. Easy project for a rainy day. Looks nice, the clock face is in my camper van instead because I liked it seperate. I intend to paint it.

I brought this kit along with some other kits for my husband.He has dementia.He really enjoyed building it and with a bit of help we put it together.Only to find the mechanism didn't work .Which was a shame because he loves it .Could you send another mechanism please so he can see it working.He would be over the moon.

It took about an hour to construct. The pieces are precisely laser-cut and are fairly easy to push out of the sheets. Mostly it was very easy to assemble. Putting the clock dial pieces together (the surround wooden parts around the dial) was fiddly but once all the six locking pieces were in, which holds it all together and also locks it to the front of the main pieces of the clock (which was also a bit fiddly) it all locks together solidly. Makes a very interesting wooden clock!

The media could not be loaded. Purchased for my father. He enjoyed making it. Didn’t take him long so need to find another one!

This was an easy kit to put together i had to glue some parts! the only issue I have was the clock face which is plastic cover it moves and on the fifth photo the long part that holds together had broken but this was not an issue with the clock falling apart or anything, so you have to be very careful on some of the parts you do put together can or may break.All in all well worth the money.

Einfach zum Aufbauen (hätte länger dauern dürfen :-)), macht wirklich was her. Tickt aber rel. laut, weil das Pendel immer an der einen Seite anschlägt (was man aber mit etwas handwerklichem Geschick und Ideenreichtum beheben kann), daher vielleicht weniger für ein Schlafzimmer geeignet.

Se lo regalamos al abuelo y le ha resultado muy entretenido de montar. Queda muy bonito el acabado y funciona perfectamente.

Très jolies horloge une fois montée. Matériel de bonne qualité et bien découpé. Seul bémol, le montage est très rapide, très (trop?) simple, 1 heure m’a suffit.

Viene en una cajita de cartón y sería un buen regalo para alguien que le gusten los puzzles, es fácil de montar y queda muy bien a nivel decorativo
