We’ve been using the Buydeem steamer along with the extra double stack (sold and reviewed separately) for about a month without any problem. We really love everything about it; it really makes our lives much better by giving us so many more choices for daily meals. The quality is good from how everything is packaged to how the steamer is built and operated. It is designed like the Apple products in the electronics world; the appearance looks premium from top to bottom. It’s very easy to set up, and you can always fill in the water after you prepare all the food plates in the stack. You can tell how much water is needed from the sideview window with min and max water line. Unlike some other electrical pots with endless and confusing options and combinations, this steamer is very intuitive and simple to operate. The timer starts after the water is brought to boil, which is great. Take a look at the video posted along this review for a quick walkthrough. Overall it saves us so much time and opens up a whole new world for our every-day meals! Our favorite is steaming live fish with seasoned soy sauce- this steamer brings out the same dish that can easily costs $50 at a restaurant! The steamer also comes with two glass stew pots that are perfect for congees, swallow nest soups, or any other type of soup or stew. A couple of tips from using this steamer for a month; we use it almost every other day: 1. As cautioned by the instruction manual, do not try to lift the bottom water reservoir by holding the water inlets! 2. If you are used to the traditional steamer on stove (especially gas stove), do expect a few more minutes than you would have set with the traditional steamer. Absolutely a good product. We bought the steamer a while ago and found out it was super easy to use and clean, makes us thinking why don't buy it earlier! The steamer have six different modes which suit for most family usage scenario, also it let you setup the timer and provides warning beep after the time is up, which makes everything under control(previously we burnt a steam wok:( ) Also the steamer heats pretty quick, my personal measure told me it took only around 3mins to bring the water to steam hot(with the concentration plastic ring in the picture for sure), usually using the stove it will need at least 8mins to steam hot the water or even longer. My personal favorite part of Buydeem steamer is the designer of its lid, the shape is super helpful when you try to make some buns, the water will not directly drop to the bun surface! Previously I have to be super careful of my old steamer lid since I don't like my bun to be too moist on the surface. Overall a very product with beautiful looking;)

I strongly recommend this Buydeem steamer. It is light weight and space saving. The design is very elegant with a beautiful mint color, which will definitely add a fabulous touch in your kitchen. Except the steamer, it also came with a rectangle ceramic plate, a slow cook rack with 2 stew pots, and a recipe book, which is a huge plus to me. This steamer gets steam SUPER FAST. It only takes 1 min after I turn it on, which is ideal to cook or warm baby food. I used to use a huge steaming pot for baby food, and it felt forever to just get the water boiled... I quit halfway many times and turned to open a baby food jar. With this steamer, the job becomes so much easy for me. I can leave to do other chores while the machine will turn off automatically when the food is ready. The best thing is this steamer also has a max/min water line and two side water inlets. You can see clearly if you need to add more water, and you can easily refill water from the side without interrupting the cooking process. If you forgot to do so, you are also assured that it will turn off automatically when there is no water. Safe and convenient! I now enjoy making baby food every day with this lovely steamer. LOVEIT!!!

I usually do not write many product reviews, but wanted to share some words about this steamer. I brought it maining for baby food, because it was popular in a local mother’s group. I also ordered the additional steamer tray to double the capacity. The products arrived very well boxed and I could not wait to try it. Here are some useful features I wanted to highlight: 1. Very quick: steam starts to fill the tank in less than a minute. 2. Convenient for small family: the small slow cook containers are ideal to make 2-3 people breakfast, and can make two types at a time, which is unique. 3. Can add extra water from the side without pausing cooking. 4. With the additional tray, I can do steam and slow cook together. Last but not least, it is compact, well designed, and high quality. It is not only good for baby, but also for our entire family. I’m so far very happy about this purchase.

Works very well and not hard to clean. I wish is was a little easier to see the water level from the front and a funnel system for adding more. Easy to water the counter when trying to add water while using. My only real con is that the main housing and water tank is plastic!

I really like this steamer. I have two reasons to choose this buydeem steamer 1. Steam food is much healthier than other way of cooking 2. The preset time functionality is very good for working days to save your time and provide you great fresh food. Nowadays, more and more people pay more attention to eat healthier and stay fit. I think cook by myself is a good way to eat less-processed food. And also it will save me a lot of money for takeout food. As I need to work everyday, I dont have too much time to cook by myself. I prefer the simple the best. Steam is quite simple, you can just put your food into Buydeem steamer. The preset time functionality is very great feature, You can put your dinner into the steamer and set the time. Then you can enjoy your dinner when you back home. Also I like to put bird's nest into the stew pot in the night, I can get cooked bird's nest in the morning as well.

I strongly recommend this Buydeem steamer. It was shipped in a big box and everything was nicely packed so there is not damage to the steamer. It came with a metal steamer tray, a ceramic plate and a slow cook rack with 2 pots. I have used it for steaming sweet potato, pork ribs and slow cooked porridge. All turnout very tasty! There are a couple of advantages of this electronic steamer compared to the steamer pots I have. 1. It is super quick. I don't need to wait for ~10 min for the water to boil on stove. I can see steam after ~1 min I turn it on. 2. It is very safe since it automatically stops when there is no water, and you can easily add water from the side without opening the lid or interrupting the cooking. 3. It has a really small footprint and fits perfectly in my pantry. After using it for a couple of days I would say it is a perfect steamer.

Steamer is always needed in my kitchen. I had Aroma one before, but it made all from plastic and the heater got rusty after three time uses. I want a high quality one and Buydeem made it! It comes with a plate you can use in the steamer and also two steam pots for making soup or dishes like egg custard. The bottom is still made by plastic but you can tell it’s a much better one. The lid and steaming plate are made by stainless steel and glass. By setting time and one click, a healthy and delicious dish is cooking! And more! You don’t need to look at it! You don’t need to worry about overflow at all!! The whole cooking process is so quiet like no sounds. Also, it has less vapour coming out from the steamer. Buydeem lock them in it so the food can be ready in a shorter time. Lobster was only cooked for 15 mins and it was well done! Adding water also getting much easier. Not like Aroma, you need to get all the stuff out, this one you just need to open a lid on a side and pour water in. The only thing is I hope you launch the second tier soon! :))) A worth buy! Love it!

I just want to say the whole shopping experience with Buydeem has been really great, despite the initial hiccup where the steamer arrived with stewpots missing! The customer service was very fast to respond and shipped the missing part immediately within 24hrs. This steamer is very easy to use and clean. I am very amazed at how smart the design is where the dirty condensation water does not flow back to the source water used to create the steam. So you really just need to clean the parts that the food touches, and can let the steamer out to dry without needing to wash it. I would recommend 100% this steamer and feel safe the seller will deliver!

Very quick steam; very conveniently to use. Slow cook also very good for soup. Like it!

Don’t buy it! Waste money! The plug design is a major flaw. This is the second steamer I've used. The first one developed a plug problem less than six months after purchase; the steamer would frequently shut off automatically. Later, I discovered that part of the plug had melted, and customer service replaced it with a new one. Now, this one has the same plug problem. This steamer has been used normally according to the instructions in the same location, and the power outlet has never tripped. However, today I set a 30-minute timer, and the connection broke twice in about 5 minutes. Upon checking the plug, I found it had melted.

My wife has been eyeing this one for a while. We bought it during prime day. It works well. We have been using it to steam our breakfast food for a while now.
