Pixel 3 XL Back Glass Replacement Panel Door Housing Parts with Pre Installed Tape for Google Pixel 3 XL (Pixel 3 XL 6.3"/Black)+Tools

I broke the back of my pixel 3 trying to get it off to remove cameras. This was a relatively inexpensive replacement abd same color as rest of phone. It even had the adhesive. Only problem I had was it came with a tube of glue that was already dried out. I ended up using another type of glue that I had. Unfortunately, the phone died shortly after putting the back on, so I didn't get to really test the durability of it.

So the quality of the back cover is OEM even has the pixel logo on it the only reason I gave it four stars is the adhesive and then the protecting material on it no instructions and it's hard to get the protective material off without taking the adhesive off the cover itself. Made for a pretty difficult install, but once I did get it on you can't tell that this wasn't a factory built phone.

The product itself is nice but I didn't realize I needed the camera frame and lens as I lost that with the old glass. This new glass doesn't come with the finger print scanner or the camera frame and glass. And the camera is unusable without that lens and frame. I also had to salvage my old fingerprint scanner. I'm just trading the phone in now cause it's so difficult to find and replace components. I used a different adhesive as I didn't like what was provided. Not an accurate fit as what was installed from the factory.

It arrived promptly, in good condition, with everything a novice (I'm not) would need for the installation. It installed quickly/correctly, and my end customer is well pleased.

I don't have the patience for this but thankfully my husband does. We watched a 7-minute YouTube video first before starting and then watched it again step-by-step. Everything functions and the back looks as good as new. I don't have any idea what Google was thinking when they thought making both sides of the phone out of glass was a good idea. *Insert eye roll*

Glue was hard. Couldn't just return the product after I opened the phone. Disappointed

The back looks identical to the original from my phone, down to the thickness of the glass, and seems to be good quality. It came with everything I needed to install it, including prying tools, adhesive strips around the edges and fingerprint sensor hole, and a tube of extra adhesive for the camera lens cover and flash diffuser. The only missing thing from the original was a small strip of foam towards the bottom that was between the case and the battery, which doesn't seem essential.

The kit comes with everything you need, except tweezers, which you WILL need to get the tiny shards of glass out of the adhesive around the edge. No instructions; you will need to watch a YouTube video to know what to do... which is what I do for most repair jobs these days. Fit was perfect. Adhesive worked well. The one thing you will need to do is use some of the unused portion of the adhesive in the middle of the replacement cover to glue the fingerprint reader, camera lens cover, and flash diffuser onto the new back. It took 3 hours in an evening, but what else did I have to do?
