Probably the best run on Green Arrow EVER! This is going to be remembered for YEARS!
I can't believe I put this off for so long! What was I thinking? I greatly enjoyed this deluxe edition and I would even say it's some of the best comics I've ever read! This is certainly going to be remembered many years from now as one of the great character runs in comics and it was brilliant of DC to collect it in a deluxe edition. Sorrentino's art is unique and absolutely wonderful. I would say it's also innovative as I've never seen comic art where sometimes part of the image is black and white. It really helps to accentuate the surrounding color and draw one's eye to the appropriate places. The covers are amazing and have a theme throughout the book, and the splash pages and double page spreads are fantastic! This is definitely required reading if you're a Green Arrow fan! This book deserves more attention than Hawkeye by Fraction and Aja!

Great Storyline, totally worth the hype
The storyline of this comic book run is exciting and introspective throughout. The author's managed to make the New 52 Green Arrow continuity make sense, while paying homage to the history of the character, and somehow managed to add their own landmark story arc for Oliver Queen. Top tier, will read again.

This Is A Must Read.
I had just finished Scott Snyder's Batman run (highly recommended as it is great and ties into this book), when I decided to give green arrow a shot. This volume is hands down one of the best comic book stories in print. You don't need any prior knowledge of green arrow to jump in this epic tale. This is self contained and truly a tale that needs to be read. It's rare comic books are this much fun.

The definitive GA run
GA new 52 started not so great with generic stories but that's totally changed when Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino came to save the book. This is one of the best run in the last 5 years...the story is grounded, gritty and the art oh my God its out of this world. the villains are all great and interesting. please pick this up and give it chance. this oversize HC deluxe edition is totally worth your money.

It’s ok
If you’re a Green Arrow fan, you’ll probably enjoy this more than me. Bought it because I’m a total Lemire fan boy and Sorrentino’s Gideon Falls artwork is inventive and stunning. Neither story nor art in this are at Gideon Falls level though.

Great run beginning to end.
Jeff Lemire crushed it. Andrea Sorrentino is one of my new favorites. His use of spotted blacks is truly masterful.

Great reimagining of Green Arrow!
After I read Quiver",Green Arrow became one of my favourite DC superhero's. I loved the follow up stories as well, right until the New 52 era began. So much of Green Arrow's history and personality traits got wiped out that it ruined him (in my humble opinion).I gave this book a chance though, as I like Jeff Lemire's stuff and I wasn't disappointed.Although he still isn't the Green Arrow of old, Oliver Queen has a lot more in common with him this time round and the story was full of action and intrigue.Ollie's happy to beat his opponents half to death as well, brutal but fun fight scenes abound in this book.Worth a look if you're a fan, it's a good jumping on point as well if you've not read the previous stuff

Maximale Punktzahl!
