Great for monitoring mash temps. 2" Diameter face makes reading easy. Reads in 4 deg. increments. Clips onto the inside of your brewpot. Has a 12" long stem. Can be calibrated to the correct ambient temperature by just "slightly" loosening the nut on the backside of the dial, and allowing the thermometer to sit at known room temperature for 30 minutes. Then, gently turn the dial so that the needle points to the known temp. and gently re-tighten the nut.
