Put the gate up two days ago and dogs have already managed to either go under it or through it. One of the fabric loops that hook onto the clips broke and I had to repair the first day we put it up. Clips don’t hold onto the wall like they should and no directions for installation-East to figure out but maybe not for all. Telescopic poles on the sides make zero sense. Piece of crap-waste of money.

This would not hold back even the most gentle and respectful of dogs.My dogs won’t cross a doorway if I put any simple barrier across it. They respect boundaries. I thought these cheap mesh gates would be an inexpensive way to keep them out of rooms I don’t want them in.These are the worst. They don’t fit across any of my doorways well they leave gaps on the sides and underneath no matter the placement. And even though I followed the directions to a Tthe hooks kept popping off the wall. And the gates kept falling down.

I had higher expectations for this product as I have small Maltese dog. Soon as we had it up, he ran right through it and broke the actual holding part of mash. Not the clips that holds it but actual mash corner holder. Second one he ran through it too but this time he broke the clips. He’s only 11lbs and smart too. We fixed it our way and he was able to go underneath as well. Wish it had sturdy bottoms so he can’t go under and product holds up good. This product was done and over in same day. Not sure if I want to return it as I’ve never returned product of amazon but I hope it helps others make better choice. If your dog is smart and strong, go for plastic gate. This one won’t do anything. You’ll waste your money.

The hooks don’t stay on the wall well. But I do like how it looks on the stairs. I’ll have to go buy some better hooks.Update: went and spent $10 on command hooks. Now it works perfect. I can still only give it 4 stars because the hooks failed. I’d give it 5 stars if it came without the hooks and told me to go get the command strip hooks myself.

I wanted this product to work so badly to keep my dogs separated from my cats. I Attached it to my railing of my stairs and it was broken with in a matter of a day. I had to get a wood gate for the spot instead. If you need a way to keep animals out of a room that they will not push on lean on stand on or you need to take it down daily then this is your thing and it’s so affordable. Do not use in a high traffic area.

No installation instructions so you basically have to figure out what goes where, not that it is complicated, but the rods make no sense. The hook tabs are stick on so any baby or dog that even mildly runs into it can pull the tabs off the walls, had to drill holes and put screws in the hooks to keep the dog from doing this (and we have a Pomeranian so if it isnt rated for a 6 lb dog... not sure what its rated for). Overall the price is too high for what turned out to be a poor version of a dog/baby mesh gate. You would be further ahead to spend the extra 20 or 30 bucks to get a rigid plastic or wooden one.

It is attached to four cheap adhesive plastic hooks which didn't stick. It lasted all of 2 minutes with a 7 lb dog. Do not trust your pets or kids to be safe with this. Taping a piece of cloth to the wall would've been more effective. It only is one size as well and since it is not spring loaded, depends on the material loops to hang on the plastic hooks to hold it in place.

I ordered two of the gates one did not come with both bars to use the gate. The gate also is not able to reach the ground for full coverage because of the bar. I placed one of the stickies to try to place the net. When I realized it wasn’t reaching the ground I tried to move it and it ripped all of the paint off of the spot. I can’t imagine this actually keeping kids or pets inside as my dog fit through the gap and my kids can pull.
