La Rustichella - Black Truffle Patè 280gr - 100% Made in Italy | Vegan, Gluten-Free, Cholesterol-Free

I've tried and wasted money on truffle oils, truffle butter or mayo before, and most of them just taste like chemical flavoring. This one is not one of those. It actually taste like real truffle (because it is...). However, I must disagree with other reviewers saying that this truffle patè is super concentrated and strong. I think it's okay for it's price, but I definitely would say that it's not as strong as others claim it to be. It's got a bit of texture to it, as you'd expect, since it's mixed with minced mushrooms and porcini. I've used it in risotto, pasta, dressings, mayo dip for the fries/chips, burgers etc. It's great! I have no complains. It tastes and smells like real truffle and instantly makes home cooking taste like a high-end restaurant meal. Pro-tip for keeping it fresh. Since it’s a decent sized jar, you probably won't finish it in one go. After you use it, flatten the top with a spoon and pour a thin layer of olive oil over it before putting it back in the fridge. The oil layer seals out the air and stops it from molding, so it lasts way longer. Definitely a luxury buy, but since it tastes really good and satisfies one's truffle cravings, it’s totally worth it. Delivery note: The delivery was fine. It came with a box with crumpled papers, but I think the bubble wrap is on the thin side. It could have used a bit more packaging just to make the glass jar more secure or protected during shipping.

I’ve tried quite a few black truffle pastes over the years, and this is by far the best one I’ve found, especially for the price. I use it all the time to add flavour to fried pasta, rice dishes, and omelettes. Just a small amount gives a rich, delicious truffle taste that really elevates simple meals. The texture is smooth, easy to mix in, and a little goes a long way. It’s excellent value for money, tastes fantastic, and has become a staple in my kitchen. I would definitely buy it again and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys cooking with truffle.

This is a quality product. You only need a small amount as it's very concentrated. It's delicious on scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes, melted cheese, added to soups, and many other dishes. Highly recommended and excellent value for money if you love truffles but not the price.

I was very disappointed with this product. First of all, it is marketed as a Black Truffle Pâté, but when you look at the ingredients, it is mainly made from champignon mushrooms, not truffles. The truffle content is minimal, which feels misleading for the price. Secondly, the jar arrived leaking. As soon as I handled it, my hands were covered in oil from the outside of the jar. The texture is also nothing like a pâté. Instead, it is mostly oil mixed with chopped mushrooms. It is extremely oily, messy, and lacks the rich, smooth consistency I expected. Overall: * Leaking jar * Very oily * Not a true pâté texture * Mainly champignon mushrooms * Poor value for money I would not purchase this again and do not think it is worth the price.

È stato difficile orientarsi tra molti prodotti simili, leggendo anche le recensioni che più che aiutare nella scelta, possono mettere ancora più in difficoltà, alcune palesemente fatte da recensori di professione non specializzati in materia di FOOD. La mia esperienza è super positiva, dalla consegna, all'imballo e ovviamente il prodotto che profuma di qualità e tradizione (sono andato a vedere il sito della rustichella) ed è evidente che abbiamo a che fare con un azienda con radici solide nel mondo del tartufo e della preparazione. Voto massimo ed aggiunto come acquisto periodico su Amazon.

It doesn’t taste as good as fresh black truffle but does add more flavor when it is cooked (I added it to garlic and green onion mashed potatoes). Even just from sometime in microwave, it makes it taste 10 times better, especially when paired with red meat (I put the truffle mashed potatoes in the microwave and then put the meat next to it and used the mashed potatoes as a dipping for said meat which added TONS of flavor to it).
