Great for My Needs...
I recently got a really inexpensive pair of BT headphones, and when using them a bit, I discovered that I really liked the idea of not having any wires in my way. It really was a nice experience. So I set about trying to find a good pair of nice sounding, but still fairly inexpensive, BT headphones to use as a more main pair of headphones. After a lot of looking, I settled on the Bluedio R+ Legends in the blue hue. They arrived quickly as is usually the case with Amazon. The packaging was really nice, which I wasn't expecting from an "off" brand pair of headphones. The box looks nice, the headphones were packaged well inside of the box, and the overall quality of the package just seems higher end than the price would have you believe. On inspection of the headphones themselves, I found them to be about as nice as I expected based on reviews I had read. That is, they aren't the most solid feeling headphones I've ever held, but they also don't feel like a $19 set that you would pick up at any department store. The ear pads felt nice and soft, the head pad was nice and soft, and they fit my head pretty well. Adjusting the size of them was easy, and I get the impression that for my needs and uses they'll last me a good long time. I'm usually pretty easy on my electronics, so I'm not too concerned about really running into any problems with them.I got them paired to my iPhone 5 in a matter of seconds and was quickly up and running. The controls on the headphones are easy to use once you get the feel for where they are, and I found them to react quickly to my presses in regards to adjusting volume or changing the tracks on my phone.I listen to a wide range of music, from jazz to hip hop, and pretty much everything in between. So, I like my headphones to be capable of producing heavy bass, but I also like to be able to tone that down quite a bit to focus on other instruments and vocals in other kinds of music. As other users have noted, these headphones tend to be pretty bass heavy in their standard configuration. They do have four different EQ settings that you can access from the controls on the headphones themselves, but I found even the "low" bass one to still have a bit too much bass for certain types of music. That's not a problem for me, though, because I simply adjusted the EQ settings on the source (my phone) and was able to find that using the "Bass Reducer" setting gets the bass to right about where I really want it to be, so that was an easy fix. I've read that there is a way to tune those EQ settings on the headphones even more with a certain tool that you can get to plug the headphones into a PC, but I'm happy with how they sound with adjusting the EQ on my phone, so that's no big deal.I found the volume of the headphones to be really good. They can turn up loud enough that they could cause some discomfort after extended use, but you can turn them down and listen to them at a comfortable level and they do a good enough job of canceling out ambient noise. They don't have the greatest noise cancellation, though, and they do bleed some music at higher volumes, so know that if you're in a quiet area with them turned way up, others will be able to hear the music. After using them for quite a while over the last two weeks, I have yet to have to charge the battery...so I would say that battery life on them is superb. I have had a couple of times when the music has cut out for just a moment, but not enough to really say that it's a problem. The couple of times it happened I was carrying some metallic antennas down to my trash bin, so it's highly possible that some kind of interference got picked up from what I was handling that threw the BT off for a moment.Overall, I really enjoy these headphones and think they're a good value. I recommend them to anyone looking for some wireless headphones on a budget.

NEW REVIEW UPDATES... PLEASE READ!!
First of all I'm very, very picky about sound quality, and these phones deliver superior sound without a question. They are crafted to deliver apocalyptic bass, without distortion of any sort. Along with the 2 massive woofs, you're getting 6 more drivers that provide Hi Definition sound across the frequency spectrum. THE BUCK STOPS HERE!! There's absolutely no reason to pay a penny more for state of the art sound. They look just as cool as any of the popular sets out there. Maybe not the highest quality materials as the high end phones, but in NO WAY do they appear as cheap. It's obvious that in order to offer pro studio quality sound at an extremely low price, Bluedio understood what materials were best suited to achieve this. AGAIN...These headphones are very attractive, with cool colors that by no means have a cheap look. If for some reason they were to break, I'd buy another set a.s.a.p.UPDATE Jan.6 2014... I read the review below regarding the Aptx issue, and I wanted to point out that there is a firmware upgrade available at Bluedio.com. It consist of 2 zip files containing the drivers needed to interface the headphones with your PC, and the upgrades including equalizer modes which are controlled by the SD multimedia bottons. I have downloaded the 2 files, but I've yet to install the upgrades. On another note, the headphones stay charged for a very long time, and re-charging is much quicker than I expected. As of today, I have not found any reason to be dissatisfied with these headphones.UPDATE Oct. 22 2015... My R+ Legend died 30 minutes ago. With no warning and while in use it died. I'm disappointed, but after I finish this update, I'm getting out my credit card and buying another Bluedio headset. I'll buy the UFO if I'm convinced their superior to the R+Legend, otherwise I'll by this headset again. Lasting 3 months shy of 2 years, I'm ok with. For what these do... I got every penny's worth out of them.UPDATE Oct. 24 2015... I purchased the UFO and it arrived less than 24hrs after my last update. Here's my comparison and opinion of the R+Legend vs. the UFO: A few seconds into the first song I listened to with the UFO, I was convinced I should have re-purchased the R+Legend. In no way is the UFO a bad set, rather the intended purpose of the 2 are day and night. I found the UFO better suited for low to moderate listening levels with exceptional clarity and reproduction output. Whereas the R+Legend slams you into an epic party, at stage volumes without distortion. I'll man-up and keep the UFO, but it requires constant eq adjustments for individual songs and the necessary pre-amp control, to get a slight duplication of the excitement the R+Legend delivers. Very soon I'll be purchasing 3 or 4 pairs of R+Legends because absolutely nothing can compare to it's type of performance, and I want to have spare's when they discontinue this model. The R+Legend is the baddest headphone on the planet right now.

if you don't mind blinking, you like bass, and you don't have a lumpy head, these will probably make you happy
These are probably the nicest headphones I've ever returned. The sound is good. It isn't great, but still very good. If you wanted to quibble, you could say the bass is a little muddy and that the vocals are a little flat. But, if you have a source with a full equalizer, you can probably fix that. (I have an iPhone, and I didn't find a preset equalizer that would get it perfect.)The battery life is excellent. The build quality gives me concern for the long term, but seems good enough for now.So, why am I returning them? They hurt my head. They are a tad heavy and the band hits this place just to the right of center on my (apparently lumpy) head and shoots pain all the way down into my face. Weird, right? I've tried moving them around, but they just sort of want to sit on that pressure point, so I know I'll never get my money's worth.Oh, and if I were to give one tidbit of advice to the manufacturer, I would say they should ship with a round sticker to put over the light because it is kind of irritating to have them lighting up all the time when it's dark. Or, better yet, have an option to turn off the visual light cues. That blinking light is distracting. So, if you don't mind blinking, you like bass, and you don't have a lumpy head, these will probably make you happy.

Fantastiche

Absolutely, totally amazing!
I've had many headphones in my time but these are just excellent. The build quality seems very good indeed and I'm very fussy and critical about quality. They are very comfortable and the sound is incredible. I'm using them with my 7th gen Nano; they paired straight away with no issues and I've had them on for the last few hours with no drop outs whatsoever which seems to be the main criticism of a lot of bluetooth headphones. I can walk into other rooms leaving my iPod behind and there are no issues with quality or drop out at all. They're a nice shaped fit around the ears and the foam feels just right, not too soft but really comfortable. I haven't tried any of the phone call features yet but the volume and skip controls on the right ear are extremely easy to locate and use and have a very positive feel; they're also very subtle to look at so you could be forgiven for not noticing that they're controls at all. Adjustment is good, certainly not sloppy like some headphones. I tried some top brand ones costing three times as much at the weekend and they weren't a patch on these, particularly build quality which was shocking at that price. I would definely recommend these, I'm very happy with them indeed. Bass is rich, treble crisp and clear without being tinny sounding and in combination with almost limitless equaliser settings on the 7th gen Nano the sound is simply wonderful. Just need to prise them off now...
