Good history politics book
Politics From A to Z is a book that is easy to read and understand. It has 286 interesting pages to read. Although the book states to be "politics" is more like History, I think this book is great for middle school and maybe high school students that are trying to learn more about politics and their history. What I like about this book is that is arranged alphabetically from A to Z and it gives you an overview of politics topics and it also provides illustrations and timelines. Politics fom A to Z gives the readers reasonable information about the American Revolution, Capitalism, The Civil Rights Movement, and Ganis explains the inner machinations of state and society. I really enjoy reading the book to find great information about politics history I didn't know about, this book also provides you with a visual references and index.I recieved this product for free for my honest and unbiased opinion.

... fan of Politics not because i think politicians are bad but more of the fact that i don't understand ...
I am not a really big fan of Politics not because i think politicians are bad but more of the fact that i don't understand the political jargon being used by most politicians. So i always get lost in the conversations and the big debate. However this book helps me put into perspectives as to where certain political ideologies came from, how they emerged and who started spreading the idea. The etymological understanding of political terms as well as the context in which they came about is well explained in that book. The book is well organized and provides definitions of many terms which could be useful in case you get into a political debate with your friends. This book would be very useful for students who wants to major in political science and have a sound understanding of how politics work. I really like the sections of the two world wars. The author really nailed it especially by introducing certain topics without being too succinct or too fancy with the wording. All in all, I would definitely recommend this book to my friends whom are political science majors. I have come across some things that might seem to be offensive according to certain people but one could always argue that the author is not doing anything but stating the facts. In conclusion, this is a great read and anyone could definitely enjoy this book.

I had a lot of fun reading and learning not only the history of politics ...
With the political atmosphere heating up this book is the right book at the right time. Very comprehensive and detailed. It covers every topic conceivable and some I didn't expect. I took a political science class years ago and didn't get half the information I got when reading this book. It's written in a way that captures your attention and is captivating. I had a lot of fun reading and learning not only the history of politics but also how it plays into the present. Usually I find political books boring, but this one is easy to read and full of great information. This is definitely a must read for anyone who has even a slight interest in politics. I received this for free in exchange for my honest unbiased review. I am so happy I took the time to read this book. Definitely enriched my knowledge of politics.

On My Way To Understanding Politics
I know almost nothing when it comes to politics and often get confused while listening about it. Politics From A to Z is a great book and really helps my understanding of it a little bit more. Each letter of the alphabet is broken down in to past and present terms and events. Each term is fully broken down and explained and some of the explantations also take you to different parts of the book to help better explain it. The table of contents has every word so you can skip around and go right to what you are looking for. This book does a great job at holding my attention and wanting to learn more about politics when it was an unsure topic for me before.I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

A lot of information
I am not one for politics but I feel that I should always expand myself outside of my comfort zone. With that being said yes this does cover politics from A to Z as the title suggests. It gives a brief run down of each topic, some explanations being 1 or maybe 2 paragraphs. I would say this book is more geared towards someone who is looking to learn the ropes but there does seem to be a bit of a skew on the views with hot button issues. I tend to prefer a book of this type to be middle of the road, neutral, which allows the reader to form their own opinions on the information provide. Overall it is not horrible, it does have a lot of information, and hopefully those who read it are looking for a deeper understanding and can remove the views of the writer.I received this item for free for review and evaluation purposes

Insightful
Excellent source for anything relating to not just politics but also includes history, wars, policies, leaders, and values. This would make an ideal companion book to history books in schools, as this would give a broader picture of our past. It also would make an excellent handbook for reference to keep on hand since it is laid out in alphabetical order allowing anyone to find a particular topic in a matter of minutes. This book definitely adds some topics that history books often leave out.I would recommend this to everyone’s bookshelf as not only an intriguing read, but for reference as well.I was reimbursed for the cost of this book to give an honest and unbiased review.

Divisive Propoganda
I couldn't get past Nohm Chomsky's interview--unfortunately his was the 1st. Basically black men are facing a new type of slavery--imprisonment, working for a living, yadda, yadda, yadda. Typical unbacked rhetoric to keep people divided. Until we have an honest conversation about race--and not the narrative that's being forced down our throats--and until the black community can take some form of accountability, race relations will never improve. John Chomsky is a either ignorant or dishonest or perhaps both. Sorry you had to start off a seemingly interesting book with more of the same false narrative that is hurting our country and people.

Very handy and satisfied
A very handy glossary to deepening the understanding of how politics work and its origins beneath the surface of day-to-day, shallow Left vs Right.Although I bought the book used, it's as pristine as new.
