Great food, but shipping needs improvement My fish absolutely love Fluval Bug Bites! It's a high-quality food, and they eagerly eat it every feeding. I've had great results with it and will definitely continue buying it. The only issue wasn't with the product itself—it was with the shipping. Amazon sent it in a non-padded paper mailer, and it arrived with the cap off, the seal broken, and flakes scattered all over inside the package. Fortunately, enough food was still usable, but I hope Amazon packages these better in the future. I may just stick to buying it from Petco like I have in the past so I don't have to worry about it arriving damaged. The product itself still deserves 5 stars!

I have alot of fresh water fish bettas, tetras, cichlids, silver dollars, Angelfish and a few more fish. They all love Bug Bites Flakes. Fluval is a top name in Aqurium products and you can see why if you try this your fish will love it. I haven't had any fish that won't eat this stuff. And I do feel like it improves the fishes color. Just try it bet your fish will love it.

The fish seem to like it, but they eat their own babies so I don’t know if we can trust their judgement. The flakes are a little larger and thicker than some brands I’ve used, but the crush up just fine.

Fish LOVE this food! My Ember Tetras really colored up quickly using these flakes. Accepted it readily.

My fish have lived for decades on another brand of flakes as their primary food source. No problems with it. They spawn and raise fry and life is good. However, when I couldn't speedily order that brand I tried the bug bites. WOW! The fish swarm to eat. I think I'll stick with this :-)

I’ve had great results with Fluval Bug Bites Flakes. My fish took to them almost immediately, even some of the pickier eaters. The flakes are easy to crush for smaller fish and don’t make a huge mess in the tank when fed in reasonable amounts. I like that they’re made with insect protein, and it gives me confidence that I’m feeding something closer to what many fish would naturally eat. Since switching to these, my fish have stayed active, colorful, and eager at feeding time. The container lasts a long time as well, making it a great value. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a high-quality everyday flake food.

I bought these flakes and they are a great upgrade from the API tropical flakes I was using. The flakes are bigger, more "crunchy", and just look more "appetizing" haha. Picture shows Bug Bites on the left and API tropical flakes on the right. You can easily grind them to any size you need based on your fish. All my fish love them...more than love...they go freaking nuts for them! Gold Honey Gourami, Harlequin Rasboras, Platys, Corydoras, Amano shrimp, RCS, Snails. EVERYTHING in my tank eats them (in additon to a few other foods occasionally). These flakes is also better for your fish health and water quality compared to others. I have noticed a little color improvement but let's be honest, flakes are flakes, and there are higher quality types of foods for selective desires (live/frozen foods). The container is a good size for the money and happy with my purchase.

Bug bites flake food is excellent! My tropical fish go nuts eating this. I highly recommend this food.

The pure ingredients makes me very happy to know I'm feeding my fish good food, and he loves the flakes which are easy for him to eat when I grind them a little smaller, and he eats them all before they have time to sink,leaving his tank cleaner. His colour is also much more vibrant I have noticed! I will be buying these again.
