March 2018: Arrived on time, comes with sturdy carry case. Unit is well made. Easy to use, just charge the Li-ion battery and press the button to start. It talks to you, but it's not annoying, 'Ready for treatment, place on head', ...'Five minutes remaining', ...'Treatment No. 2 completed.' If you take it off your head during treatment the lights go out. With it back on the head the lights come back on, and she says, “Treatment resumed.” It shuts off after 20 minutes. Overall very good design. No discomfort. My wife is using it also. I plan to start with one treatment per day, five times a week, M to F. If any negative results, will reduce to three treatments a week, M-W-F. The instructions say to use it at least twice a week, and allow a full 24 hours between treatments. I expect to see some improvement in existing hair strength after two months, 50 treatments. I expect to see new hair re-growth after 12 months, 260 treatments. I am 58 years old, and get my hair cut about once every ten weeks,... so not much happening up there in one month. April 2018: I plan to update this review each month with progress, if any. May 2018 update: It's working. Using six days a week. After 42 treatments I see stronger hair, the wavyness is coming back, and small new hairs coming in. I have a small red birth mark on my upper forehead, my hair line was well above this mark,, now I see fine hair next to and in front of it again,... the birth mark is not moving up my head! The hair line is moving back down. Increased to 5 stars. February 2019 Update. We continue to achieve great results. More thicker stronger curlier hair. The hairs that come back are the same color and texture as before. For several years [from about age 54 to 57] I was going about ten weeks between haircuts. Last year I after I started using the Theadome red laser hemit I got my hair cut every six weeks. Now, after nearly a year of treatment, I get my hair cut every three weeks, as I did when I was in my thirties,, the computer at GreatClips is keeping track. The lady at GreatClips can easily see the difference and told me, “Just keep doing exactly whatever you are doing.” The customer service at Theradome is excellent. The company stands behind their products. Dec 2022 Update. Still going strong after 1017 treatments. The battery was easy to replace. We were traveling over seas for a while and when my wife, 74 years old, got back to her regular hair dresser she screamed, “Oh my goodness! Honey, where did you get all this hair?!” Nov 2023 Update. The battery charger finally quit. Everything is still working, but the helmet can’t charge the battery. Theradome sent me a replacement battery and power adapter for free; when that didn’t fix it they offered me a replacement helmet at a 25% discount and free extended warranty. Determined to make it work, I dug the little circuit board out of the end of the battery, bought a battery holder, battery charger, and several new 18650 rechargeable batteries from Batteries Plus. I twisted the wires together, plugged it back in, stuck the battery holder to the helmet with double-stick tape,… “Ready for Treatment, Place on Head.” It’s not pretty, but it works. About once a week, I need to pull out the battery and swap it with the one in the charger. The reason there are three wires for the battery is the over-temperature alarm; when you hear the helmet say, “Error, Temperature High,” I believe she’s referring to the battery. Some cheap Chinese batteries don’t have over-temperature protection, even though there are three wires, the battery is telling the helmet everything is Ok even when it’s getting close to thermal run-away. Always buy Theradome replacement batteries. You could save $20 on a cheap battery, but your helmet could catch fire. Lithium-Ion batteries can be very dangerous. For my external battery setup, the charger on my nightstand has over-temperature protection built in.

My partner and I are thrilled with this product!! I have double the amount of hair I had than when we purchased it. The crown is no longer thinning, and everyone asks how I did it. Theradome, of course! It's really nice to once again have enough hair to style, and it's also reduced shedding down to an amount that lets me keep a full head of hair at 61 years old

Worked about 1 month, can’t hear error message, but could need new battery. If after 1 month you need a new battery, there has to be a defect. Bought the iretore laser cap instead, I had the red light model and it has lasted for years, much better quality. Don’t waste your money on this laser cap.

I was skeptical about the price, but after a months of consistent use (twice a week, 20 minutes) my thinning crown has filled in noticeably. My barber even commented on it. It's completely hands free, so I just wear it while watching TV. Fair warning: you won't see anything for the first couple months, and I almost quit. Stick with it. Works best on thinning areas, not fully bald spots. Expensive, yes, but beats pills with side effects. Wish I'd started sooner.

I’ve noticed a significant reduction in hair fallout since I started using the Theradome product. Previously, I had more hair in both my hands and in the drain. My hair dresser even commented that I had new baby hair growth in my thinner hair areas. You can see a difference in my photos too. I’m very disciplined about completing the treatments as instructed and am delighted with the results and the value of the product. My other family members are now interested in trying it as well

I’ve been using the Theradome PRO LH80 for several months and the device itself appears to work as intended. The helmet is easy to use and fits well into a routine (2–3 times per week). However, my experience with the warranty process was frustrating and something buyers should be aware of. After less than a year of normal use (no drops or misuse), internal plastic components cracked and small sharp pieces fell out of the helmet. Given the price point, I expected a smoother support experience. After a week, I got contacted. After submitting photos and such, it eventually got approved for replacement after a couple weeks, but I was required to pay shipping to send the defective unit back. I got a replacement unit after another week of waiting. For a premium medical device at this price, I don’t think customers should be paying out of pocket for warranty returns. To their credit: They did ultimately send a replacement unit The new device appears to be working properly so far If you’re considering this, just be aware that the warranty process may require extra effort, time, and cost on your end.

The theradome helmet is easy to use. It was recommended by my dermatologist. It has reduced shedding.

This review is for anyone unfamiliar with LLLT (cold laser treatment) for hair growth and considering an at home hair laser. (Caveat : Neither a doctor, nor hair restoration specialist here) ...In the past, after purchasing 2x week/48 session treatment packages at an HR clinic w/medical grade lasers, very good results were achieved in density & growth resulting in incredibly stronger, and even darker hair quality . 1. Bare in mind, most in-office medical grade laser lights have around 300+ diodes... This is generally the baseline for high end LLLT in-office machines to achieve noticeable, positive results. 2. This method isn't inexpensive: $1k + for one package of 48 treatments at a HR clinic is about the norm. market pr. 3. That said, the Theradome Pro LH80 (while not in-office intensity/laser grade) is a great alternative for an at home/ez to travel with experience. The PRO LH80 features are well thought out. 4. While your mileage may vary, beware of some of the negative reviews you see here from buyers who commented they (e.g.) 'use it every day' ...for 'such & period,' etc. .THAT gives you a heads up as therein lies the problem; LLLT effectiveness requires you to take 'intermittent breaks' in treatments for a reason...you will overstimulate the scalp/hair follicles with so called 'everyday' treatments and LITERALLY throw you hair cycle in reverse ...Be keen to the frequency of LLLT treatments! More frequent treatments won't speed up results. (As is the case with most things 'more' is not faster, better, etc,....it's just, well... 'more' ) Just beware of anyone claiming it 'doesn't work' when they don't follow the 'rules of the road' for LLLT treatment!. Lastly, Theradome CS even replaced the battery on this unit and made a repair outside of warranty... So imv, they stand behind their product and their customer too. At least from this customers experience over a couple years it is a positive purchase and generally good results when used as directed. Just another viewpoint!

I tried this as I was suffering with really bad hairloss over a couple of years. I was diagnosed with androgenic alopecia. I saw numerous consultants, including Dermatologists, Trichologists and Endocrinology specialists. I was recommended this specific treatment and exact product. This cost a lot of money and I appreciate is sadly unattenable for some people. That's a shame. I wish it was available to everyone. I use regaine (minoxidil) at night and I use this twice a week for 20 minutes. It talks you through and tells you how many minutes are left and how many you have done. It's not an exaggeration at all to say it's absolutely incredible. Life changing for anyone self conscious about hairloss. I've had a few family members use it with the same incredible results. It's designed for men and women. It can prevent future hairloss and regrow lost hair. It's excellent quality. Easy to use. Comfortable. Its a lightweight cap. It's worth every penny if you are lucky to be able to buy it. Would absolutely recommend 100%

I pay the ame price as them! The replacement battery may not be shipped to our area – check it first! Let’s see how long will work.
