Installed in less than an hour in and it started the my Champion 9000 generator right up. Good replacement for my old battery. The price was better than I expected. Now I’ll have to wait and see about the battery life. I hope it doesn’t let me down if we get hit with a hurricane.

Note that Casil has apparently changed the terminals on their 12v 18Ah batteries. The new terminals are screw-in but the problem is that there's no real guarantee that the terminals are going to be able to be screwed in in a way so that they are parallel to the side of the battery. I'm including 2 pictures the first is showing how the terminals are (the old battery is to the right) and the second is showing the 2 batteries with all 4 terminals screwed in, being loaded into the APC 1500 Smart-UPS. As you can see I was only able to get 2 of the terminals to be parallel so that the battery fuse could be loaded the other 2 I used for the wires to the UPS. While I understand the reason they did this, the Amazon sales picture does not show it. I was lucky in that I got these to fit the UPS. If Casil is going to do this they need to put a rubber O ring on the screw in post to allow for final terminal adjustments and still load the threads enough to make good contact. As for longevity and energy output, I won't know until another 3 years have passed - yer pays yer money and yer takes yer chance
