There are several sources for pycnogenol, but this one if from the original and from my experience, the most potent. Viva Labs Pycnogenol is sourced from a protected area of pine forest in southwestern France, grown exclusively under strict French forestry legislation for consumer quality and safety. It promises to be preservative and herbicide free. I've never experienced results this good from pycnogenol sourced from grape seeds. Don't waste your money there. Stay with Viva's pine bark from Les Landes de Gascogne forest in southwestern France. It's only been 10 days, but already I've noticed a huge improvement in my skin. It's still soft, but tougher. I'm not bruising as easily nor is my cat Betty tearing my up when we play. Even the bougainvillea got trimmed without me looking like I'd lost the war. If Viva's pycnogenol is doing this much good on the outside where I can see the improvement, how much good is it doing on the inside? Yep, I'm happy. Besides promoting healthy skin, pycnogenol is also clinically shown to support cardiovascular, circulatory, joint health and more. It's a free radical scavenger, thus a great anti-inflammatory.

I've been using this pycnogenol for about 3 or 4 months now and it seems to be helping. ED medication had stopped working. Taking this along with l-citrulline has returned my response to the medication. I may try supplementing with L-arginine as I heard it may work better. Update: Going on 5 months and the pycnogenol is still working. It also has the effect of lowering my bp. I’m borderline high bp and taking pycnogenol bring my bp to normal.

I've been taking this for a couple months now and haven't really noticed any difference in my spider veins or circulation in general. I've decided to stop using this as I don't feel that personally for me pine bark extract is safe to take long-term in such high concentrations. To be fair, I understand that caffeine can be a major cause of spider and varicose veins and I admit I use coffee and yerba mate pretty regularly although I am trying to use less. All that being said, my approach to healing my circulation and spider veins from now on is going to be more focused on less caffeine and increasing the amount of kasha (roasted buckwheat) that I eat. Kasha, and apples are good sources of rutin which helps with circulation. Other things that will help are exercise, stretching, eating less salt, removing any processed foods from your diet, quitting alcohol and smoking (anything), foods high in vitamin E (sunflower seeds), foods high in vitamin C (lemons, amla, oranges, etc.) and spices like ginger and cayenne.

Around the middle of June this year, my wife was diagnosed with a rare eye disease known as "Birdshot Uveitis". If left untreated, it can eventually cause blindness. Two different ophthalmologists came to the same conclusion that she had this disease. After 3 months of my wife using both these products, not only has her eye condition not gotten any worse, it actually has improved to the point that she sees better now driving at night than she has in years! We are in our mid-70’s and take several supplements daily. I’m always researching products or doing trials with them to see if they actually work for us or not. I got one bottle of this and we both started taking 1 pill in the morning and 1 in the afternoon along with our other pills. After about a week, we have both noticed we have more energy, a brighter outlook on the day and feel great. I have tried everything to try and get us more energy, and as good as all our other supplements are, energy was not something they seemed to provide. This does. We feel great and I am just about to order more pills. Expensive…but well worth the money! Oh and libido…great for your libido! Both of us noticed a big difference!

I have not found yet another Pycnogenol supplement that is as good as this one. It is an excellent anti oxidant that works really well. The important part is to look for the origin of the bark, it has to be French Maritime bark extract, and not just Mediterranean Maritime bank. Also the company website describes the processing method which is also very important.

It is quite expensive. I have to take 300mg a day to work on body. But it works.

PYcnogenol is an excellent supplement. It keeps my collagen in my face nice and firm. I am 78 and have been using pycnogenol for at least 30 years. It is good for the eyes
