I think this wax is GREAT! It is thin and goes on smoothly; very easy to use and easy to clean your brushes. It doesn't gunk up in the jar or become thick and gummy on your brush like the other well known brand that begins with an A and ends with an O. Its perfect for wax resist work. I don't wax the bottoms of my pieces but if you do this would be fine for that as well. Item was well packaged--I had no issues and would totally buy it again.

Great! I was looking for one without a colorant and this is it. I mostly use it to prevent small pieces on my completed sculpture from overdrying and cracking.

Works well for wax resist in ceramics whether your waxing bottoms or using for surface decoration (i.e. mishima) Easy to apply and is, also, easy to wash out of brushes.

I have been a professional studio potter for over 50 years, A long time ago there was a wax that worked perfectly...and then it was no longer made. Yikes! For decades I've been struggling along with the stuff that starts with an A and ends with an O. Sticky brush clogging goo. My main decorating approach uses mass quantities of wax so there was a lot of extra work to compensate. I was running low and decided to see if Amazon sold such a thing as wax for potters and here this was. The reviews were pretty good and one very good one stood out so I thought, "what the heck, give it a try, at the least I might be able to use it to dry foot". OMG! this works like the magic wax from long ago. It is thin but isn't dribbly and resists perfectly. It only needs the food coloring of your choice to make it ideal. Huge thank you all around.

I was hesitant to order this product because of all the reviews talking about the package leaking, how ever I decided to give it a chance. My package came in a box, which I believe is one of the attempts they made to keep it sealed. they had a sticker around the lid that was meant to keep liquids in, the little seal on the inside of the lid was already loose by the time I got it so it had leaked just a bit before I received it but its just wax so it dried up and wasn't really that much of an issue. The product could use instructions on the label or on a card in the package, but its pretty straight forward, you just apply it where you don't want glaze to go. Its clear so it makes it a little hard to see where you've painted it on so far but it dries so quickly by the time I started to over lap I could see it was even working on the wax's second coat. If you guys could figure out a way to guarantee that it wont leak I believe you'd have a lot more happy customers. maybe cling wrap under the lid in addition to the sticker around the lid and some instructions for those who are not familiar with the product.

Finally got a chance to use it. It works perfectly!

Perfect for waxing. One jar lasts a long time. Easy application, smooth.

Best wax resist I’ve found so far, it goes on smoothly so you can draw neat lines and crisp edges, it doesn’t get lumpy or sticky. Shame it’s not coloured, that would make it beyond perfect 👌

The best wax resist i have found yet. Others have been clumpy but this is almost clear and so easy to put on.
