Bought for "oily rag" motorcycle restoratons i.e. making riders, not show pieces. My hobby is buying unloved & neglected motorcycles and fixing them up to safe & solid working condition after which I ride them for a while until I sell them for seed money for the next project. To me it usually always pays in the long run to save up your pennies and wait until you can buy better quality tools. Spent the extra $ and chose this set as a happy medium between the bargain priced sets and the crazy expensive ones based on reviews of its durability.Gotten more than my money's worth so far. So much nicer using this puller on wheels, cush drive bearing carriers, sprocket bearing carriers, etc than the homemade gizmos I used before buying this set. Bought the metric set since I work mostly on older Japanese bikes. Collet size range is good. Collets feel hefty / made from decent steel. Slide hammer weight is heavier than hammers in similar sets which is another reason I bought this product.

this is a really good set for motorcycle repair. i have the expensive snap on brand and this one beat it. more size range and very good quality. works on most bearings. easy to use and very good price.

Good value and I will use it elsewhere however it did not have what I need to get wheel bearings out of a motorcycle wheel.

Works great. Remember to heat your hub a little so you don't shave the inside of your hub when removing.

I had 2 browsers open - one with this kit another tab with a cheaper model of puller. I toggled back and forth and debated if I wanted to spend the money on what looked like a much better built tool set. In the end I pulled the trigger on this one and it was well worth it. Pulled the bearings out of my motorcycle wheel with ease. It is made of real metal and machined to clear specs. Feels right in your hands and that's the goal with tools like this.

Works for pulling tire bearings on Suzuki Savage LS650/ S40. Also great for engine bearings too.

I work as a mechanic at a Harley dealership. The poor condition of our shop tools made it necessary to purchase my own bearing puller. After pulling a few dozen bearings this tool was worn out and unusable. The forcing screw is too small, not suitable for the work asked of it. I've replaced the screw and nut several times only to have them bind up and become useless. This puller may be just the thing for a home hobbyist but for hard and repeated use I would not recommend it.

I should have brought this tool a long time ago. Makes changing bearings a lot easier.The slide hammer is a good size though I wish there was a 2nd longer rod.
