I bought these brushes because I started doing my nails at home. I've been using gel and when I mess up, these are so good to just clean up around my nail. They are also good for brushing my nail polish onto my right hand as I am right handed and can't paint with my left hand to save my life. These are helpful with the six different sizes. I want to learn to do simple designs but haven't gotten there yet. I do think the tips with the thin bristles will be great for that too. I think the price is fair, at least for beginners.

So many options for nail tools, the dotting toys are my favorite. Plenty of shapes and size for brushes to do line work with.

I'm terrible at painting my nails, but I good at cleanup. I watch a "Russian" manicurist use the detail design brush to get the polish in the crevices. Overall, the manicure was flawless. U purchased these to attempt to do the same. The quality is great for the price.
