Fantastic price for a little extra peace of mind
These are VERY convincing!! Just to check it out, I shined one through my bedroom window, out onto my car in the community parking lot. When I made a midnight run later that night to cure the munchies, I was quite pleased to look up at my window and see the little red dot (blinking red light) which shined right onto my car. It does make me feel safer, although it was not my car that got messed with, fortunately, but rather: the sprinkler head close to it keeps getting busted, resulting in a lot of water spray in the direction of the car, and I would like to keep that type of reckless vandalism to a minimum. I figure: If a blinking red light can be seen from the window, at least the vandal will go attack a different sprinkler head next time. My preference is he or she will finally get bored with this mischief, and find something better to do. These nifty little fake cameras will surely help to speed up that process.

No Power? No Problem —Surprisingly Convincing!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased two of these fake security cameras for a property I’m currently renovating that doesn’t have electricity. The place had been broken into before by a squatter, so I wanted something visible that would help deter any future unwanted visitors while I work on getting the place fixed up. These definitely do the trick. The red blinking light is surprisingly convincing, especially at night. Even without power to the house, the battery-powered light gives the illusion that the cameras are real and active. I installed one at the front of the property and one at the back to cover both main points of entry. For added realism, I even attached a small piece of wire to each unit to make it look like it’s wired into the house—just a small detail, but it really sells the effect.Installation was a breeze. They’re lightweight and come with the hardware needed to mount them quickly. They also have a nice, sturdy look from a distance and blend in well with the exterior. From the street or driveway, you’d never guess they aren’t functional. So far, so good—no break-ins or suspicious activity since putting them up. Of course, I know they aren’t actually recording anything, but the visual presence alone seems to be enough to make people think twice. For the price, you really can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a temporary or low-cost deterrent. If you’re dealing with a vacant property or any space without electricity, I definitely recommend these as an added layer of security. They’ve given me a little extra peace of mind while I focus on the renovations.

Decent for the Money
Decent product. It feels like it is cheaper than it is; however, once installed, it works. It's difficult to know if a false camera really works, especially because I haven't had a problem with theft. It is easy to install and looks like the real thing. Each camera does take (2) AAA batteries. I thought that was a lot for a smalled LED lamp. In the end, I would probably buy them again.

Great fake cameras to deter bad actors!
They’re realistic enough to work. Good quality for what they are. I know they’ll deter most folks even though they don’t have lights. A light would make them more realistic but that would require maintenance or a constant power source.

Driveway Guard Dogs
You would never know these are not real. I fastened mine to trees next to my driveway to make delivery people more responsible.

packaging is not discreet
The package clearly states that it is a dummy camera lol i didn’t like that, it should be more discreet packaging. They don’t have an on/off button so they run 24/7, will have to change batteries frequently. They’re okay, they are very affordable for someone who can’t afford a real security camera system.

Does what it’s supposed to do!
Purchased these for a friend that had a creepy neighbor that wouldn’t leave her alone. Definitely discouraged him from coming back onto her property.

Shabby product
Very poor quality. The seal of the package was broken, which suggests it was a returned item. That is probable as the battery compartment of each of the two cameras was impossible to open by hand. I had to use a screwdriver to pry it open (with some minor damage). The front "glass" falls easily open. The thread of the main body is so flimsy that it is hard to put the front back straight without damaging it.In the end, it hangs and the diode blinks, but that is only one positive thing to say about this shabby product.
