Excellent purchase! Very strong magnet. Video attached.
The media could not be loaded. Review for Aobelieve Magnetic Mount for Blink Camera: I’m impressed how well this mount works. Initially, I did not know how to put it together. When I loosened the wing nut, the ball fell out. Easily enough, I placed it back into position and realized that the ball-n-screw can be positioned in the direction I wanted my Blink camera to point.I also learned the hard way to place the magnetic base onto the metal fence BEFORE snapping on the camera. The magnet is so strong (attraction to metal) that when I placed it about an inch from where I wanted it, the magnetic pull whooshed it onto the metal, and the force caused the camera to fall off. Seems like I do most things backwards. LOL! I wish I knew what type of magnet this is because it is the ONLY one that works on my fence metal. I have no idea what type of metal my fence is—I did not choose it.Video shows the first heavy rainfall. The Aobelieve magnetic mount withstood the rain test! This Blink outdoor cam is the first version Blink offered. It has the same adapter as the other newer Blink outdoor cameras. I didn’t try on my Blink minis.

Perfect for aluminum siding - buy it!
I bought some Blink outdoor cameras without giving any thoughts as to how I would hang them on my house. The mounts that came with the camera are meant to be screwed in, which is a terrible idea. What if I wanted to move the mount? What if I removed the camera to change the battery and the screws pulled out of the siding when I pulled? What if I flat out didn't want to damage my house??I had a hard time finding an alternative way to mount my cameras because 1) my siding is aluminum, not vinyl, and 2) the siding clip mounts sold do not fit the way my siding is constructed (the pieces are fit flush against one another so there is no "underneath" for the clips to grip onto). Much internet searching for mounts kept leading me to the siding clips as the only option, and I grew frustrated. There had to be something else.I think a lightbulb actually appeared over my head when I realized that hey, METAL CAN HOLD MAGNETS. And I ran with that moment of clarity to Google and searched for "Blink outdoor magnetic." And boom, here was exactly what I needed. I have less of an idea why this mount didn't appear in any previous Google searches than I do why it took me so long to realize I could use something with a magnet. The mount is well constructed--much more substantial than the tiny things that came with the cameras. The camera attaches more firmly so I don't worry about it just falling off the mount. The mount has a longer arm than those tiny included ones, allowing for better camera angles. I stuck the assembled piece (mount + camera; there was no major assembly required) on the house, checked the view, and made adjustments to the positioning easily. And I was done. Finding this product was much more labor intensive than using the product. I love the mount. I'm embarrassed I forgot about magnets sticking to my siding. And I'm confused as to why this product isn't more heavily prompted through Google. The End.

Strong magnet
I bought a 2nd one after I got the first one because it’s so impressive. The magnet is very strong so watch your fingers! Only downsides I found which isn’t even really a big deal was I had to file down the little nubs on the piece that clicks into the back of the blink cameras (I have both the 3rd and 4th generation outdoor wireless cameras and both needed to have those things filed down) and you also have to be very careful not to unscrew the tightening screw too far otherwise it falls apart and you have to put the rotating ball back in between the two pieces and get the screw back in. Other than those couple hiccups this product is great!

Good Mount Bit Pricey Tho 🤔
This is a good alternative to drilling holes to mount your camera on metal. The magnet is good but only on certain metal. Its strong enough to mount a camera and hold a small note pad. It has a rubber bottom so you won't scratch up the surface. Would have been cool if they gave you a metal disk with 3m tape for more mounting capabilites. It locks into place with the ball joint ok. 👌 Good enough that I purchased 3 of these but questionable do to the high price and a little rust forming on the exposed metal quarter 20.In the pic I have a pocket cam mounted but these are especially great with the blink outdoor bc when you remove the camera from its pop mount putting it back is a little difficult. With a magnetic mount you can take the whole thing and have better grip for mounting and positioning. But its difficult to find metal places around the outside of the house for these.

Easy to Use
If you want to install your blink camera on something metal then get these. They are really strong. We have had them up in strong winds and haven't had a problem.

Great add to my exterior cameras!
This is my second order of these magnetic mounts. I like to keep an eye on things outside and I don't like to drill holes in my siding so these work perfectly! They are strong and work great on the metal siding.

I can't speak to the functionality yet but...
Even though I could open the heavy refrigerator door with the magnet, there was nothing outside of the house to attract it to. Siding is vinyl, gutters, gutter end caps, window flashing...magnets don't attract to those surfaces. Very strong, double sided adhesive velcro wasn't strong enough to keep them mounted to a flat surface either. I'm in the process of drilling holes through the base (not easy even when avoiding the magnetic parts) and mounting them on gutter end-caps with a screw/nut assembly. I'll come back to report if the cameras actually work.

Very strong
These things have withstood some 60+ mph winds mounted on steel siding. Some are mounted in areas where I would think some shear winds would whip around a corner and they still hold. Yet if you want to move then to different location, just tug and move it. Yet they stay in place very well. Never had one move or drop.

Aobelieve Magnetic mount for Blink outdoor cameras.
Reason to buy this mount was due to it being magnetic, a great choice . The mount does what it says , fantastic holding power. Once fitted you have a fair amount of pressure needed to remove it just what you want in a magnetic mount. I was slightly sceptical about its holding power but once fitted really suprised. Great product would definitely recommend it. Being an item supplied by Amazon Us ,it was a bit of a wait for it to be delivered but was well worth it.
