Best brand!
I've ordered these for years. Reasonable price. No 'bad' gunk like soy in them. They definitely work for leg cramps, mood brightening, and general health.

I don't go out in the sun like I did when I was a kid
The longer I practice medicine, the more everything I know is wrong.Decades ago I learned that caffeine was harmful in re: cardiovascular health. Now I hear it's beneficial in treating if not preventing alzheimer's disease. Oh, and it doesn't hurt your heart.Vitamin D (and Vitamin A) were needed by smokers to offset the free radical damage done by smoking. Now we know these seem to contribute to causing cancer in smokers.Last year in the same week Harvard medical school released data suggesting a multivitamin supplement was beneficial in preventing cancers (all types, I don't recall the article being specific), our US government alphabet agency NIH said vitamins don't help with cancer. And so on. Who are you going to believe? So I hear out of both sides of the mouths of experts that vitamin D3 has no proven benefit as a supplement, at least not that can be teased out in the limited studies done. But no harm is done by taking it.I don't go out in the sun like I did when I was a kid. Sunlight causes cancer, you know. Actually it seems that sun SCREEN products may contribute to skin cancers because they don't cover 100 per cent and wear off AND you STILL spend far more time in the sun than you would have without it, thereby further increasing your exposure to UV rays in the peak hours of the day. But without sunlight our bodies don't make enough vitamin D.So why not. It's relatively cheap.Do you have car insurance? Homeowner's insurance? Life insurance? Health insurance?Call this a kind of insurance policy, take some, wait for the next big news.

Needs K2 to make it a daily use vitamin
Good vitamin but I wish it was combined with K2 to be a daily use vitamin. I ended up buying another brand with both items in the supplement. More efficient

Quality Brand
I purchased the Now Foods Vitamin D3 5,000 IU, 240 softgels and have been satisfied with the product. The softgels are small and easy to swallow, which makes daily supplementation convenient. The high potency 5,000 IU dosage is ideal for those needing to correct or maintain vitamin D levels, especially in low-sunlight environments. Since starting this supplement, I have noticed improved energy and immune support. The formula is clean, free of unnecessary additives, and well absorbed by the body. The packaging is sturdy, and the product arrived in excellent condition. Overall, this is a reliable, effective vitamin D3 supplement.

Great vitamin that everyone should be taking
Best D3 around! I bought this when I found out my daughter was very deficient in vitamin D. Our doctor at the time blew it off and said to take 1000 iu daily. I started researching myself and after reading reviews on this vitamin D3 product, I bought it. I also bought it for myself and my grandmother. And gave an extra bottle to my boss who now purchases it for her family. I researched doctors and found an internist who was more educated on vitamin d deficiency and insufficiency. She said we were on a good regimen of 5000iu per day. This is the first school year in my daughters life (she's a senior) that she has not been sick with a cold or sinusitis constantly. She still has issues with aches and pains but we are seeing a specialist for that. I tell everyone about vitamin d and suggest buying the Now brand.*Update: My daughters level went from 16 to 40.8 in a year! Mine went from 30.4 to 55.4. Both of us feel great. I have heart failure from chemo and have a pacemaker/defibrillator which I see a team at a heart failure clinic b/c I would need a transplant in my future. Yesterday I had a follow up and I've surprisingly improved a bit. The doctors say it may be a combination of some weight loss and my vitamin d level rising. They were very surprised b/c they thought I would need a transplant by now. I recommend to all of my friends, family, and co workers to take vitamin d3... the Now brand :)
