Amazon Warehouse bargain
Bought this from Amazon Warehouse, works a treat with the Acasis thunderbolt enclosure. This is used for media storage for my MacBook Pro. While the write speed is impressive, it’s the read spread that at least as far as my application goes makes a big difference to my work flow.

Solid unit
The unit (2TB version) arrived earlier than advised, no issues installing it using a PCI card in an HP dual Zeon workstation on a CPU-1 slot. We've not done any formal speed tests with the disk but can report reduced run times on large models that use the disk a lot - so it is quite a bit faster than the Sandisk Extreme II SSD that it replaced. We're happy and the price is competitive; Good value.

Very, very fast!
It's very, very fast! Easy to install and I've not had any overheating problems despite not installing a heat sink. I created 2 partitions on this drive, the 2nd one for system backup and 180GB system backup takes less than 10 minutes

PCIe 4 X 4 NVME drive.
VERY fast in new Z590 motherboard with PCIe 4 and Intel 11th Gen CPU. Recommended.

Works well in an external caddy too
I use it with time machine to back up my Macbook Air M1. Works well still after nearly 2 years. Does get a trifle warm at time.

Delayed Delivery and a little Awkward on Warranty
Got the Sabrent Q4 Rocket 2TB drive. Overall in terms of performance I'm very happy with it. The actual product itself is very good, and for that it deserves 5 stars in that merit. It was good value too, having got it for £240, especially considering its recent release. However, the arrival of the item was delayed by 3 days, and information over warranty was somewhat scarce. I knew from the product description it had a 5 year warranty, but I was unsure on how to claim it. Upon receipt of the item, there are no instructions(I could find) in the manual or packaging that told me how to claim it. It was only until I searched online that I found you needed to take the serial number of the SSD to register it. This is fine, but I had to remove the SSD to get the code. Even if there was some information on how to active the warranty, it wasn't clearly or conveniently explained/displayed, which feels partially disingenuous or slightly misleading. It would be great in future products if they attached a piece of documentation specifically telling you how to activate warranty. Because of this, I say 4 stars, but it would be a 5 if warranty activation was more clear. Cheers!

Never worked.
Arrived promptly but it was never recognised by BIOS. Returned the item and waiting 5 working days already for then to acknowledge they've received it.... Not impressed...

Purchased solely for PS5
Works great, super fast, very easy install that came with the screw needed for installation.

So far, so great.
I'm always hesitant to review items, like this, so early after I've received it. In the last week since I received this SSD, I've put it through its paces and it handled quite well. I was going to get another 2TB Corsair MP600 for my PC, but since this one was on sale for about $80 off on cyber monday, I couldn't resist. I am not using this drive for the operating system, I am using my existing M.2 as a system drive, and this one is simply for adding extra data storage mostly for games; but also to free up room for media like music and movies. The install was extremely easy. (My Asus X570 required me to remove the M.2 heatsinks and the chipset cover, but that's more of a Motherboard issue). The bios recognized the new storage device immediately. I didn't even have to do anything in the bios, but your mileage may vary depending on bios. On the first boot, the operating system took an extremely long time to load, and I'm not sure why, but it was only once. I think there was some initialization happening behind the scenes and I was stuck on a black screen for a few minutes. I just walked away from it and eventually came back to a windows 10 login screen. A note to Windows 10 users: If you are like me, and using this for extra storage and not your system drive, you will need to go into your disk manager and format this volume for use. It won't be available as a drive until you do. I measured the performance with Crystal Disk Mark and this drive performed about the same as my MP600. It did slightly better and slightly worse in some categories but overall the differences are so negligible that you'd never notice it. If I recall, the MP600 seemed to do better in sequential writes and reads and this one did better in random writes and reads. Once again, the difference is so minimal that I think of them virtually the same. I moved all of my steam games to the new drives and it was so fast it moved my largest games in less than 90 seconds and the smaller games in about 30 seconds. At the moment, I could not be more pleased with this drive. I see the price has gone up since Cyber Monday, so it's a bit of a tough sell at over $300, but if this ever goes on sale for less than $300 I would not hesitate to get another one.
