Nice Knife
My first purchase of this knife maker. I'm happy with the knife, very sharp, not that heavy. For the price point it's a good buy.

Unbelievable Value!!!
I've always wanted a tracker knife but never wanted to spend $200 for something I was certain was kind of a gimmick knife. I took the leap on this one just to see what hat it was all about. The knife is amazing for the price. I can't imagine the TOPS being any better except made in America and a better sheath. Great grinds, handles done well, sharp out of the box. Super well balanced, the weight hits forward like I feel it should, has a nice choil to protect your hands. Whoever makes these knows what they are doing. The sheath is well made and serviceable, it's not top grain leather, I'm not even sure it's actually leather, maybe leatherish substance is a better term but for $60 I don't care. I'll have a sheath made for it. This thing is a beast and we'll worth the money. I can't wait to get it in the woods and see how it holds up. UPDATE: 12/15/19 I got some time with the knife this weekend and I'm even more impressed. The sheath is more than serviceable, I just wish it drew out right side up scout carry for me. The D2 is awesome, it was sharp out of the box but I hit it with a ceramic rod then the strop and it's stupid sharp. I honestly can't believe how sharp I got this knife. Snag one of these before the price jumps up on them.

I like it more than Tom Brown's Tracker
One reviewer commented that it isnt Tom Browns Tracker, and hes correct - Its better. As great as the Tracker is, it is flawed. The Tracker has no finger guard: the Bobcat has one which is built into the blade. A tired hand tends to slip and Browns knife has no guard so, as sharp as both knives are, and both are like razors , if your hand slips on Toms knife you'll be cut to the bone. I've used the Bobcat for several hours today and my forefinger nestled gently against its curved guard all day- never uncomfortable. And even though I slipped and cut a piece of flint and seasoned knotty black oak its still razor sharp and completely unharmed. Strangely, it was packed in heavy oil, despite being 2D stainless steel-it took Dawn & Go-Jo to cut it. Its beautifully milled and symmetrical and the handle scales are slip resistant Micarta. The sheath, though made of excellent leather and with obviously of quite high quality construction, its going to take some getting used to- the pull is very strange; either left hand up side down pull or right hand reverse pull , both horizontal. The whole affair smacks of of high quality and workmanship. Worth a hell-of-a-lot more than its $ 60 price and I wear it with a barely suppressed , maniacal grin. Buy easy, easy buy.

BIGCAT ROAR Black Jaguar - Handmade D2 Steel Tracker Knife 12"
Arrived very well packaged. Good balance, grip, with comparable sheath. Sharpness of the knife will be in the perspective of the owner, grind is good and even. Sheath is well constructed and securely holds knife. I would purchase again, if need arises. There are 2 small spots of rust on the spine of the tang, mid handle, easy enough to lightly sand and oil; recommend a packing lubricant to prevent rust post production. I would purchase again, if need arises.

Decently sturdy and made a great gift!
Overall good sturdy knife. Sheath could be better quality, but pretty sturdy. Does the job.

Amazing knife, best knife on the market
I’m used to packing cold steel kukri’s and Sog, gerber, etc, I’ve been a prime customer for over 11 years and seriously have bought so many knives, very expensive sometimes because normally you get what you pay for, this is one of the most beautifully made knives I’ve seen or owned, but it’s a beast, it keeps its edge, don’t rust, and it’s hard to believe that this insanely cheap priced knife, does better than any other brand you can think off, the genuine leather sheath is just perfect on my belt positioned in the small of my back can’t even tell it’s there, I’m going to buy a couple more this is now my go too, I’m gonna sell all of my big brand knives and use that money to invest in more from this seller!! Hands down best knife I have ever owned, I’m a believer, I have now changed sides do your self a favor and buy this knife, take it from a 12 Army Infantry vet, you will be amazed

The Best of the Best for TRAKKER knives
The value of this knife is outstanding. It has a Real Wood handle, it is HAND Made, it has a longer knife blade than most if not all Trakker knives, and the shape is most Functional. It is very sharp right out of the box. It is packaged very well to protect it. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. A Big Deal to me is it has one of the best Finger Guards to protect you from an unforeseen accident. And it has Multiple holes to tie it to a stick (whether you would want to do this is irrelevant, it is an extra Option available). Because of the price and shape of say the Tops Trakker, I never thought I would get this type of knife, but I love this one. What I mean by shape, is that the Tops curve in the front does not make the point very useful for any type of stabbing or point work in wood (at least not practical at all). I like that this is not only Survival (Bushcrafty "is this a word") but it is also Tactical / Defensive in its shape. And it is not too heavy. I also like the Sheath (Real Leather and very thick), but I will have to add my own Belt loop / connection so I can also have the option to carry it vertically. I also like that it is D2 (tool steel), for some what stainless, easy to sharpen, holds an edge respectfully (of course not like 3V, but usually better than 1095). I am not a fan at all of 1095 steel. It rusts very easy and it does not hold an edge very long. In fact I own only one ESEE knife and I got it in S35VN (love this steel). Every knife will usually at some point be used with food preparation, so I do not like knives that have the rust resistant coatings that scrape off into everything. Hence, another reason I love this BIGCAT Tracker with D2 Steel that does not need a coating. The Only coating I do like is the DLC (like on the Cold Steel knives [usually with the CTS-XHP or S35VN], not there old black painted coating). CTS-XHP another good steel but because of Expense and Lack of availability most manufacturers seem to have given up on it. But I like S35VN a little better than CTS-XHP for the little more of toughness. Anyway, all my opinion for what that is worth.

Great looking steel! Left-handed sheath.
First of all, the knife looks great, truly. It fits the hand well and the finger ring is comfortable. The sheath is good quality, looks great and smells delightful. When you hold a karambit your index finger goes through the ring and the blade extends down from the bottom of the hand. I did not notice from the pictures that the sheath this knife comes with does not facilitate a proper right hand draw. The sheath is for lefties. This is all well and good if its just going on a shelf (or if you are left handed) but if you intend to use this as some type of EDC or Silat and you are a righty the sheath is incorrect. There might be an option to fix this when ordering but I don't see it. Edit: My bad. Apparently this is the way this particular karambit is designed. My review should say: "Please read product description thoroughly before ordering things off of Amazon."
