I have very strong lenses so I usually take off my glasses when I spend a lot of time on my phone. I had been putting my glasses on my lap but I eventually adjusted my position resulting in my glasses getting stick between the chair and the cushion or I'd end up sitting on them.After destroying two frames, (broke off the bow on one frame and wrenched the other frame so out of shape that both lenses popped out). I needed a better solution. I thought about getting the chain type that hooks to both bows but decided I didn't want to wear that chain all the time.When I came across the Readerest Magnetic Eyeglass Holder I bought 2 immediately. They are awesome!! They work with all of the clothing thicknesses that I've tried so far, (Flannel, sweatshirt, thick winter fleece, summer weight sweater, wind breaker, and plush Bathrobe). They aren't so heavy that they drag your shirt down and the base, that sits on the inside of the fabric, is wide enough to offer a stable base that prevents the holder from flipping over.Definitely a budget saver for me! I highly recommend this item.

I depend on these now. I am an addict for Readerest. Generally, the hard plastic backing will give out eventually and the magnets will simply pull thru after a year of daily use. That or the magnets will come off the metal hook, though those are easy to re-glue back on. Worth it.

Some of the reviews mentioned how heavy this is, and I'll have to agree. It works GREAT, magnets are strong, never once moved when I wore it. The problem is that it is so heavy that it pulled on my shirts which just made it looked 'dumpy'. This would probably work great for thicker materials or to wear on jackets, but for those wearing thinner materials, it just didn't look good.

I am using this to clip my work badge and some medication cabinet keys on for work. I have a reel badge holder and pull on it multiple times a days to enter a locked door or to use the keys. This magnet has yet to pull loose unlike many others I have used.If you are using it for eye glasses then it will definitely stay in place.My badge reel and keys weight is enough that my scrub top is pulled down a bit but the magnet holds.I will buy again if I happen to misplace this for some reason.

Magnets are strong and make contact through fabric of shirt and stays put as advertised. Safe to hang ones glasses on it.

Bought this as I work in Healthcare and either putting my glasses on my head or through my collar they always seem to fall on the floor. The magnetic on this is super strong and keeps my glasses safe attached to my scrub top. Highly recommend 👌

I bought this specifically so I would have something to which I could clip my work safety alarm badge. The magnet is very powerful and I don't have issue with it falling off. My badge clips on securely and I don't have to worry about how to affix it to my clothing. Perfect for Nurses and those who are required to display ID and don't want to use a lanyard.
