A: Yes, should be enough room, I used mine for a picture that was already mounted..

A: The ones I purchased are glass.

**Q: Can the mount be removed so to house a full size A3 poster?**
A: Hello there.  If you use the mout it takes an A4 size print, but if you remove the mount, it takes an A3 size print.  Hope this has been of some assistance.

Well packed and delivered in 'as new' condition - albeit 1 day later than advised by Amazon. A little but flimsy, but not sold as premium frame. Overall, reasonable value for a hang-and-forget frame. The more re-hanging and re-inserting of pictures you do, the shorter the life you can expect from our frame..
