I am mainly Irish, extremely thick kinky, course, hair. My hair dresser has told me out of all his clients my hair is the thickest he has ever seen. It’s long. My hair is all the way to my hips. It’s bayalaged but not heavily bleached. It normally takes me 30-45 minutes brushing my hair out when I get out of the shower. It results in neck pain, aggravation, and me hating brushing my hair. It always gets severely tangled. No matter what I do. Pros: Yes it gets the tangles out. I don’t have to make my head go into a strange position and start hurting. It’s an absolute life saver for me. Con: Battery life is horrible. I have only used it twice. By the second use it was already dying. Although this sucks, I’m just going to buy a ton of battery’s. Con: Unless you separate your hair into many small sections, it won’t work. I have to separate my hair into 5-6 small sections for it to work. Con: Knots it will NOT get though. It just will not. So I open up the knot with my fingers, and then try again. Overall, yes it’s the best damn thing I have ever found for de tangling my hair. I have used a TON of things and products to detangle my hair and this is number one. It just sucks that the battery dies so quick. I don’t really blame it for not getting though strong actual knots.
