## Description

Review: Beautiful set of calligraphic inks. Great color range! - Beautiful set of calligraphic inks. Work great with glass pens, standard calligraphic nibs. Easily adjusted with thinner or thickener for illustration. Can't wait to make use of the entire range!
Review: vibrant colors, good bottle packaging once you know the trick - The ink colors are vibrant, even the lighter ones like the pale pink. There's gold colored sparkle powder in all the inks (all gold, none are silver), but it's subtle and adds just a little pizzaz. The color chart is the order of how the inks were packaged in the box. The bottles are actually extremally well thought out. The type of rubber stopper they chose not only will keep the inks from drying out (unlike some of the Windsor Newton and Speedball bottles), but is designed to help prevent messes when opening/closing the bottles, if you know the technique. The furrows in the side of the hydrophobic rubber act as channels to flow the ink back down into the bottle, saving ink and (ostensibly) making less mess. The trick is you have to grip the rubber stopper (& I strongly recommend using a paper towel while doing this) and then firmly hold that steady. DO NOT PULL the stopper out. Instead, slowly & gently twist the bottle and pull down. Once you've broke the vacuum seal by exposing the furrows, the stopper should come out the rest of the way easily and the majority of the ink will have slid down the channels back into the bottle. I've included a short video to show what I mean. Once I figured out to do this, no more ink on my fingers!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: It says that this ink for glass dip pen, can I use it in a regular dipping pen?**
A: I personally have a feather quill, and it works. This ink is somewhat thin though, and it tends to bleed slightly onto the paper whenever you write with it. Not massively, but whenever you get a fresh dip and begin writing it will feather out slightly.

**Q: Is this ink washable**
A: A pen dipped in ink is easy to clean. If the ink has been written on the paper, please pay attention to waterproof.

**Q: Is this ink water based or oil?**
A: This ink is water based.

**Q: Water-based, alcohol-based, or other?**
A: This is water based and has glitter in it. I write with it then take a wet paint brush to it for a watercolor effect

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ vibrant colors, good bottle packaging once you know the trick

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice ink
*by P***E on November 19, 2023*

The ink is pretty with there shimmering glitter however, I expected it to be more sparkly than what it was The colors are quite beautiful but there is a problem I have there is a rubber seal for the inks, which I understand. However, I try taking them off and it keeps leaking onto my fingers and whenever I try opening others, my fingers get more colorful. I’ve also washed my hands, but the ink is much more stronger than what I expected it to be. All in all, it was perfect for what I needed.
