Cured correctly
Fantastic taste, this reminds me of back in the 1960’s when I was a kid. My grandparents had an Italian bodega in New York. In the deli case there was always a giant tray of these next to the green olives. Finally found them! GUIDELINES, WHOEVER IS EDITING THIS DOSEN’T HAVE A CLUE ABOUT THE COMMUNITY GUIDELINES. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOT ONE THING THAT IS OFFENSIVE IN THIS REVIEW. UNLESS YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT MY FAMILY ITALIAN DELI THAT WAS IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 75 YEARS. GO AHEAD AND SAY SOMETHING ABOUT MY GRANDPARENTS, MY PARENTS, OR MY FAMILY THAT IS IN THE PHOTO. THIS WILL BE THE LAST POSITIVE 5 STAR REVIEW I WILL GIVE!

Nono’s olive oil dry cured black olives
Wow, those are the greatest, bring back so many wonderful memories of my Nonie and Nono Sunday family dinners. It was a real treat to have Nono’s homemade cured dry black Olives and these are the closest I have ever tried that come close to his. What a dream come true taste!

Probably a second or third best that I’ve ever had
Not rehydrated very well. Pretty dry.

Sharp, tangy, slightly bitter flavor is a taste worth acquiring.
Decades ago on a trip to Northern Mexico, I became (figuratively) addicted to dried, cured olives. I my South Eastern state, they are often difficult to obtain. Whereas, all those years ago, I paid $5.00 for about 2 quarts, they are now costlier. Doesn't matter. If you like a strong, tangy flavor to contrast with your bread, cheese, and sausage - this is exactly what you need. I, obviously, highly recommend this product.....ofcourse, as I already indicated, I AM and addict.

More Safety is Needed
I thought they would be packed in Olive Oil, but they were not. The oil on the olives was rancid and the jars were not sealed. Really love the olives if they were oil packed and had sealed lids.

Great Italian salt cured olives.
These are a little dry but almost exactly the way I want and expect salt cured olives to feel and taste. If you don't like these, you just don't like Italian style salt cured olives.
