HKS GL-940 Large Caliber Double Stack Magazine Speedloader

Not a fault of the product, G22 15 round mags are difficult to load but I managed to get all 15 rounds in. I would recommend this loader.

If you've never used one of these before... It does the lion's share of the work in loading a magazine. Model GL-940 works as expected with Glock 26 and 19 magazines, with notch points for both of these to seat into perfectly. Make sure you get the one for your model firearm.As others have commented, the last round requires a lot of force (more of a magazine issue than an issue with this product). But it does the job and that last round has been a fight in any mag since 1996 anyway. Definitely a worthwhile thumb-saver for the range, and makes the magazines much easier for my wife to load as well.Details... They work by allowing you to use your left hand thumb to press a lever arm downward. That lever arm acts to push the follower downward within the magazine, creating an open space for you to slide a round about 80% in without resistance. At this point you let off with your left thumb and let the pusher device spring-retract out of the way. Then you manually push the round the last 20% of the way in. It greatly reduces the effort needed to overcome the follower spring and push it downward. For the next round, the pusher arm acts upon the previous round to push down.

This HKS GL-940 LC Magazine loader is the best, easiest to load, adjustable, and most reasonably priced Mag loader out there. I have the most popular brand that retails for 2 1/2 times this loader, and though it works well, this loader works much weller. Lol. The Lula loader is much more versatile loading a greater variety of mags and calibers but it must be set on a hard surface with the mag on the surface to work well. The HKS is mag Type specific (single verses double stack) but it is grasped in one hand to operate and with the other hand, Bullets are inserted. If you have both, you will always choose this loader for the outright ease is loading. It applies adequate pressure on the follower to load those stubborn last rounds on those new mags. I have one for my 9/40/10mm 357 sig dbl stack mags with take Glock, S&W, Berretta mags without fail. It will do other dbl stack mags as well. I have the other HKS for my single stack 45/38 super and others. Picture shown is for the single stack mags. The dbl stack loader retains the mag sideways unlike the single stack that retains mag on its end. Both are adjustable for various mags. This is in my opinion the best mag loader out there.

Worked for a loader but obsoleat for todays weaponery

A very useful and durable tool that increases magazine loading time and spares your thumb or other fingers.

Purchased this to help load large compasity mags, and found that it is not designed to hold them, only holds regular standared mags. Dissapointed in the design of this product. Just isn't needed for regular mags. Unless you really have a bad time loading a regular mag, I don't recomend this product.

The GL-940 works perfectly on Glock 9mm and 40SW magazines (note the clever "GL-940" model number...) for models 17, 19, 22, 23, 34, 35, both 10-round limited capacity and 15-17 round "full capacity" and probably the sub-compact models too (Glocks 26 and 27), but I don't own one to test. The slot for those shorty magazines is clearly there, and I've little doubt it works perfectly.I HATE it when this thing is not in my range bag for some reason and I get stuck loading mags with my thumb. I get a lot less shooting done in the same amount of time at the range when I forget this tool.

I was always envious of my friends who had speed loaders. at the range i'd be killing my fingers trying to load my mag, and the more i load the harder it gets. This speed loader is easy to use, secures the magazine in the holder, and you just load away!! fast, simple, and fun.
