I admittedly tried the Joy razor first bc of the cute pink option (I know, I know), but am glad I did! It's very straightforward-- sharp blades that don't rust, a moisturizing strip that works and doesn't get all gooey (I toss mine on the shower floor to get it wet and ready while I wash my hair etc prior to shaving), and each new head lasts me a good while, but I don't shave daily. I shave approx 2-3x a week, and I only use it on my legs (I use a disposable for my bikini area), and I don't use any sort of shaving cream, but I still get a super smooth and close shave, without any bumps, ingrown hairs, nicks, or redness/ irritation afterwards. My legs usually end up staying smooth for a few days, which was not always the case with me, since I'm pretty hairy overall and used to have to shave daily. I was using a pretty simple Venus one for a while but wanted to try something else and stumbled upon Joy randomly at CVS one day. I can't say for sure that these razors are why my legs stay smoother longer but I haven't changed anything else other than that I got older, so I don't know what else to attribute it to, but either way, I'm not ccomplaining! Even my boyfriend likes using my Joy razor for his face, haha! He has a Gillette Mach 3 but he told me he actually prefers my Joy razor which I found a bit surprising but also, not really, since I too love it. And at the price to buy in bulk on here, you really can't beat it. I've been very happy overall since switching to Joy a year and a half or so ago :)

My legs feel smoother and I rarely get razor burn or irritation now. The best part is they just click into place. I used to use Billie razors and these are WAY better.

I've been looking for a new razor for quite a while. I've tried several brands over the past year ranging from very inexpensive to rather pricey. I tried 3 blade and 5 blade. The first couple of shaves, they mostly gave a similar experience in closeness, but some were already getting a bit dull. My criteria: I need it to give a close shave without damaging my skin. It needs to give a consistent result. It needs to feel good in my hand. Preferably non disposable with easy to find replacement blades. An affordable price point and if possible, look pretty in my shower! After all my research, this was my winner! It met all my criteria and more. The only slight con I noticed- being that this particular package does not come with a safety cover. I don't have small children in my home & I don't travel often so not a big deal for me but it could be for some. I even tested how long I could go between shaves. Keeping in mind I have lighter colored hair and it's not thick or coarse. I went 11 days. I started to feel stubble on day 7 and on day 11 I was able to actually see the hair. I think that's pretty darn impressive! Another stand out for me was how good it felt in my hand. It has a little weight to it and is evenly balanced. It's also covered in a grippy rubbery material and doesn't slip out of my hand. There are a few colors to choose from as well. All in all, it was a lengthy search but well worth it in the end. I hope my experience will save you from a years worth of trial and error!

This razor is very good for its flexibility on the blade and a good clean shave that last longer than other razors I have tried! The only issue I have with this razor is that the handle is very slippery with a gel type finish so I had to add a hair tie to the handle for some additional grip, but that is not a very big deal considering the good quality of the shave! It is great for people with intensified crevices or muscles on their body as the blade and design moves around very easily with not much pressure and even though I am heavy-handed, I did not encounter any cuts with this blade! The first time I used this razor I shaved off hair I didn’t even know I had! I would highly recommend this razor for full body shaving although, in my opinion, I would improve the grip of the handle by using a hair tie or rubber band! The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was for the grip of the handle. All other qualities of the razor receive five stars!

The joy razors are a good buy and work well. I have not had any skin irritation, razor burn and have rarely cut myself with these razors. The razor heads also have good longevity. I ordered these replacements after trying the kit with the handle and have decided to stick with this brand so long as they keep their prices this reasonable. The handle is ergonomic and is rubberized so shaving takes less time and there is less slipping with soapy hands.

Love how small this razor is, made for women, but even a man could use this on his face that’s how good it is! Close shave, and hands down the best women’s razor out there!

I'm obsessed with Joy Razors! They're comparable to high-end men's razors, but at a fraction of the cost. The refills are reasonably priced, especially since you only need to purchase the handle once. The shave is incredibly smooth and long-lasting. My legs have never felt so silky! The razor is sharp and glides effortlessly, making it a breeze to use. I've already placed my third order, which speaks to how much I love these razors. Its super hard to find good women's razors for cheap, I tend to use men's razors for this reason. I orginally picked these up in store because 1) the handle was cute 2) it was a great price. But they are really good and super worth it for the price, they shave smoothly and close with no cuts until they are a bit dull! This is an absolute steal for some really good razors, taking them out of the package they do say "Gillette" which was a pleasant surprise because Gillette mens razors are my go to. These are really good, the moisture strip is pretty standard, the blades are good and sharp though, I really love the rubber grooves they catch hair to avoid clogging the razor blades and make it last longer. I hate hair but I also hate expensive razors, these have me shaving more at a comfortable price.

J'utilise les lames Joy depuis plusieurs années maintenant. 5 lames et le prix moins cher que les autres marques. J'ai aussi une peau très sensible et la bande d'hydratation ne me cause aucun problème. Très satisfaite.

Good value, not the worst, but did give razor burn on sensitive areas whereas other blades I have used before did not.
