I paid £10 for the twin pack and the units were a bit smaller than I imagined they would be, but that would be down to the way my brain works (or so the wife alleges - lol)Build quality for the price is pretty good, although I am not sure about water resistance? I removed the back cover to find a large cylindrical battery (a bit bigger than an AA), a small control PCB. But there was no gasket between the back cover and the case. I own some thin double sided tape and decided to use this to make a gasket, which seemed to work pretty well. We will have to see how long this all lasts and if it were to malfunction at some point, if that would be due to water ingress? I suppose gluing the back cover on might have been a better solution?The motion detection is within spec as I have these lights to illuminate my shed doors should I need to go to them at night (like if the missus kicks me out, she does that from time to time). It is about 3m, but the brilliant thing is that animals roaming my garden at night have not triggered the lights!It is literally one screw to install - easy peasy!Brightness is more than sufficient, it won't up the garden, but then I have a halogen spot light for that, what it does do is shine more than enough light on the door locks so even if I were three parts gone to wind, I can see enough to let myself into the sheds.Would I recommend these lights - unequivocal yes!Well at least for the time being, hopefully they should last a couple years which would be fantastic. But then at a fiver a piece.., I couldn't build them myself for that sort of money.

We have security lights & CCTV up in the front, and the back, and that's all mains powered - and they are great. But we did have a dark area, which was a passage down the side of the house, next to the garage, right next to our neighbours fence. I didn't want to put a security light up down there as it wouldn't have been fair to have it lighting up their side window - considerate see. We do use the passage to take the bins around to the front of the house, so wanted something that would illuminate just enough - and these are perfect !The fence between us and next door is a standard 6 foot one, so we bought 4 of these lamps and screwed them to the fence posts down the side. Very easy to fit - just one screw for each. Then just push the button once to turn them on, and that's it!They had charge in them when they arrived, and the area where they are now fitted doesn't get a lot of sunlight - especially at this time of the year - but they always work!The motion detection is great, it must be 8 feet or so, and the lights are really bright. I particularly like the fact they have lights on 3 sides, it really does illuminate a good area. I don't think I would put them up in place of a main security light - but for these off dark spots - brilliant!When no movement is detected they go off after about 10 seconds or so, which I guess is why the 'charge' lasts so well.Very happy to recommend them - good price, and it surprised me just how much solar lights have improved!

I like it was easy to install, works perfectly and has decent light strength..only thing I don't like it has a blue cast to light which doesn't match the other lights I have but can live with it.. recommended..

Held off on review its been months now. Bought several of these many from temu and these from amazon have performed very well. The batteries are still going strong even in winter unlike the many cheaper ones i got which struggle even after replacing the 18650s with decent ones likely due to poor solar panels. This set if lights do not suffer that issue ive had them running months and never had to open them and mess with batteries the solar panels are decent enoughto keep the cells charged and even the one getting only a couple of hours of indirect light is still going well all be it dim after a few activations. As with all solar gear i suggest direct sunlight exposure however these are effective in indirect sunlight too as long as they get enough light generally. Good buy highly recommended

A great product - perfect for the bin area out the front of our house, which is now far less dark and dingy during the winter nights. This just needed one hole drilled in the wall (with a rawl plug) and was installed in minutes... and has worked perfectly for well over a year now (including right through winter) with no dimming at all, and the PIR detector works every time. It's great!

We have now had 3 of these. The first one worked really well and lasted over a year. It's very bright and the motion detection was good. However the more recent 2 didn't last much beyond a month before they stopped working. They all stopped working around the same time after a really cold spell. Not sure if the lights are damaged by winter temperatures. Hence only 3 stars from me. Initially it would have been 5 stars but I do expect them to last longer than this.

Really good product we use it for the back door for the dog especially in the water nights works brilliant
