I'm surprised to find that this actually picks up a decent amount of fur! As some other reviewers noted, I wouldn't use this on delicate fabrics- it also picks up some fabric fibers. But overall, this is a great tool for a quick de-furring of my couch, car seats, or even my coat.

I have gone thru so many different types of pet hair removal products I have lost count. The consistent winner is the pick-up sticky tape. Unfortunately the tape also picks up lint and can become non-sticky all too quickly. I also hate going thru sheet after sheet of tape. Enter the silicone pick-up tools.... Easily replaces the sticky tape as the new winner. These tools are affordable and they work!!! There is a con however. Note that there are nubs or projections of silicone on the tool that "grab" the pet hair and allow you to gather it up into a pile. The silicone projections will probably wear down and not work as well after a time. Fortunately, you have four sides to the tool and hopefully months of use before the tool loses its usefulness. I just hope the price stays reasonable. I paid $10.

I was skeptical at best that this pet hair removing tool would work. We have 2 dogs, that both seem to shed more hair then they are capable of even having on them. I have used this "brush" two ways.The first way I used it was similar to a lint roller. I brushed it over our couches that the dogs like to sit on. I was amazed at how the hair did come off the couch and stuck to the brush. It is much easier to use and much more cost effective. After doing a few cushions, I ran it under water to remove the pet hair and what not. It cleaned up very easily. I shook the extra water off, dabbed dry and continued using it on the couch. We have microfiber couches, so using this really did help them look quite a bit cleaner, and well, less hairy!The second way I used it was directly on my dog. He has short, coarse hair. He loves being petted, but I hate the mess that it leaves after I am done petting him. I just used this as I would my hand while petting him. He seemed to enjoy it. It collected quite bit of hair that otherwise would have been floating around my house! I am thrilled! Any remaining hair that was not trapped in the brush, was quickly cleaned up by it!This is a very sturdy rectangular tube. It has a hard middle frame surrounded by a grippy rubber covering that attracts and locks the dog hair. I imagine this would work great on any animal hair, maybe even human hair, who knows! I highly recommend it either way! I received this product in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

This is great for helping get up the dog hair off furniture, sheets, blankets, car seats, etc. I really needed it for my bed because our dog sleeps with us and sheds a lot. We have pleather furniture so it's not hard to keep the dog hair off of that and when he rides in the car he's in his box. He sleeps under the covers and I hate the dog hair all over the sheets. I hate sleeping on my stomach and having dog hair in my mouth or nose... I know... solve the problem by not allowing him in the bed... so really wanted this for that reason. I used this on the bed sheets and it worked well. We don't have a deep mattress that the sheets are made for so I had a little problem with this but think it's because the sheets have "play" in them. I gave it a 5 star still because I think this is "my" problem and not a problem with the product. I personally think this the perfect size... not too large and not too small but it fits well in your hand. Should be easy enough for little ones to use too. :) It's hollow in the middle so it's not too heavy to hold. I just knocked it on the side of the trash and rubbed it with my hand to get the hair off. It'll rinse off easy and drying won't take much time.Disclaimer... I have a short hair chihuahua she has light tan fur and it sticks to everything. I have tried different items to remove her fur, my long hair doesn't make it any easier. I am finding silicone products are durable and can last a long time, that is why I decided to give this brush a try. First thing I tried it on was my dog but she hated it just she does any other brushes I use to brush her. So brushing my dog is a disappointment but that is not what I purchased it for. Couch is not one of the smooth styles so I had my doubts, but after trying it a few different ways, I learned that if I do it in sections and set the brush at the back of the couch pad, the slowly pull it towards me. This gathers the hair up and then I just gather it all together, then I pick up the hair and throw it in the garbage can I have sitting close by. It doesn't get all the dog hair but it gets more than anything else I have tried. This is definitely worth the price to purchase itI purchased this brush at a discounted price with a promise they I would give an honest review.
