This comb was a life saver when my daughter brought home lice from school, the over the counter treatments come with a plastic comb that kept breaking. This comb held up great and i would recommend it to anyone that need to comb nits out of their childs hair

Our kids have, unfortunately, had head lice this year. When kids are in school, this is a common occurrence. We've tried other nit combs that worked alright. Most of what we used were the plastic ones, but this comb leaves no egg or nit hidden. It is very precise and sturdy! I highly recommend this lice comb!

The seller sent this lice comb quickly. It doesn't pull or get stuck in a child's hair like some combs and helps rid the hair of lice and nits.

Kind of freaked me out when my husband opened the amazon box it was already open. I'm not sure of how it works but I definitely don't feel very comfortable using it now.

This is the best lice comb ever. It is just the same as the non-kid version by the same manufacture though.

The product I received is sturdy and looks like it would work well, but it had obviously been previously opened and was then stapled back into the package. I have no idea if the product was previously used, or simply had a damaged or opened package. Regardless, I'm not comfortable using it without knowing.

I hate that I even had to order this comb. One of the worst things to deal with throughout the school year, is head lice. It's something that most parents end up dealing with at some point during their child's academic career but even though it's normal, it's extremely frustrating.First of all, nothing over the counter works. NOTHING! Not even the prescriptions work like they used to. We had such a bad outbreak here in Georgia, that the pharmacies were all on backorder for the prescription head lice medications, indefinitely. Nice, huh?I've tried every single lice comb that we could find locally (including the ones that come with the over the counter treatments). They're all garbage. The teeth of the combs are so far apart, that only thing that gets caught between them, is tangles. No lice. They also break the first time you use them, which does you NO good. If you've deal with head lice, you know how important it is to comb through every strand of hair, over and over and over again (for several weeks), until you no longer see lice or eggs. It's crucial to have a high quality comb or the back-breaking labor will be for nothing.This comb is what you want! From one parent (of 5) to another, heed my advice. Don't waste your money on other lice combs that claim to be the best out there. THIS ONE is the best. It's metal, which means you can boil it if you'd like (to sanitize it) and the teeth are VERY close together. If you shampoo and then condition your child's hair, and then use this comb, you'll glide through each strand of their hair without pulling/snagging. With each pass, you'll pull out a bunch of lice AND eggs! You MUST get the eggs or the time you've invested in ridding your child's hair, will be in vain. All it takes is 1 single egg to remain in their hair and the cycle starts over. The egg hatches, baby lice come out, they feed on your child's scalp and then lay more eggs. It goes on and on.I've thrown out all of our other lice combs. They were worthless. This one grabs those little bastards without causing any pain to your child from hair pulling. It's a MUST HAVE for any parent who has a child in elementary school or a daycare.**I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
