Spring Valley - Biotin 1000 mcg, 150 Tablets

I was trying to make my hair grow & was told to try this as a cheaper option to hairfinity. I started with the 500mcg, once a day with a lot of water, after a month & 1/2 I increased to 2 a day then 3 a day till the bottle ran out, then I got this bottle & did the same thing. I a day then 2 a day, then 3. I definitely saw in increase in the growth. I could never get my hair much further past my shoulders but this really gave me some extra length fairly quickly. The downside was all my hair grew faster meaning I had to shave, pluck & dye my hair more often. I didn't notice my hair being any thinker although a friend taking said her already think hair was growing thicker. I did notice that if I did not take with a lot of water or with food. My stomach would feel queasy. My friend also mentioned her nails growing faster but I didn't feel like my nails grew any faster or stronger either. I didn't pay attention before but I have been getting complements on my long eyelashes that I have never gotten before. I will definitely be purchasing again.

I would strongly recommend this product if you are struggling in growing your nails or hair. I’ve purchased this item before but this was my first time purchasing it through Amazon and I love it. I have had a great experience with using these supplements, healthy/fuller hair and my nails are growing so much faster and healthier!

I think these may be breaking me out. These are only 1000 mcg and it says to take 5. Normally I take 10,000mcg and don't have any problems. I believe it may be the brand but I thought they were all the same. I upped my water intake by 24oz bc I was going back on biotin and I know the affects it can have your skin. But this one I just don't know. I gave it 5 stars bc shipping was ok and packing was excellent.*UPDATE 9/10/2016I finished 1 bottle of Spring Valley Biotin this brand is not for me my hair has fallen out by the strands. My hair is really thin. Usually biotin doesn't do me wrong but this brand did me in.You live and learn. So now I go back to what I know my oils and the other brand of biotin not this one.

Bottle looked like it had a very rough time before it arrived as label was missing it’s outer cover (like it had been removed and attempted to be put back on). I order many things they Amazon and made sure ‘seal’ seemed to be secure. Biotin appeared to smell normal. Never had this happen. Only reason I’m writing this is if anyone else has these issues. NOT to be bad on Amazon. I love my Amazon! ❤️

For the price and quality, Spring Valley's Biotin is my primary choice. The size of the soft gel is easy to swallow and doesn't irritate a chronically dry throat. I went through cancer treatment and afterwards my hair nails and skin were in terrible condition. Nothing worked; I couldn't grow my nails, my hair looked horrible no matter how much I conditioned it or what beautician I went to and my skin didn't look the same no matter how much time and care I put into it. I have to say that my nails are so strong, my hair looks better than its looked since before I had treatment and I have seen Improvement in my skin. I would definitely recommend this product.

I've been taking biotin for years, and it has really helped my hair. It grows faster, stronger, shinier, but mostly I love that it grows faster! I had a botched straightening treatment by an unlicensed salon (didn't know! do you homework everyone!), ended up having to have 8 inches of my hair cut off, and taking a 1 capsule of biotin twice a day has really helped it grow faster. I also take a prenatal vitamin daily, as it has folic acid and iron and other nutrients that can help your hair grow too. Be careful of taking high dosages of biotin, it can give you acne. One way to combat that is to drink a lot of water, and usually it helps prevent some of the acne.
