Will not order again
first, i ordered this for my mother’s 96th birthday. it was going to be a few days late and was a week later. okay, we can live with that because it claims to be an award winning torte, and since =she loves sweets and marizipan, we looked forward to its arrival, past her birthday… i recall that the previous description was for a “cake", but maybe the descriptive language may have been changed. folks: it is not a cake, not a pie, not even a torte. it is the size of a cookie …and flavor was disappointing. it is not by any stretch of my imagination that i can believe that the favorable reviews are true statements. keep reading to those reviews that tell the truth. this product is not worth the $18. it’s about the size of a ‘moon pie’ and does not taste as good. a disappointment for a senior’s birthday. Cannot order again.

PERFECT.
NOT too sweet - NOT too bitter ......A [mandatory] Special Treat - no matter what the mood ..... maybe add a few pieces of fresh fruit [kiwi, mango, papaya, pineapple ... even fresh guava .... something exotic - to contrast the subtle flavor of the marzipan].Petite espresso on the side ....

The taste is bland and metallic. Very small and boring. Don't buy this.
