Shadowscapes Tarot Deck

Beautiful artwork!! First: I refute the "1 Star" reviews of Jan 5, 2021 and Aug 11, 2018, which stated the card stock is "thin pieces of paper without lamination," "so thin it is like a piece of paper," etc. and Jan 10, 2021, "Tiny card size." I compare this product with the solid, traditional "CRAFTERIAN Classic Tarot Set - 78 Gold-Edged Classic Cards," I purchased. The "Shadowscapes" Deck (2021 edition) is only slightly thinner, just a tiny bit shorter than the Crafterian Deck, and IS laminated, and the cards DO NOT buckle, as claimed by another "1 Star" review. These hysterical, negative reviews must come from people who have not evolved much in their spiritual journey, as laid out in the Tarot, and are way too dismissive and idealistic. The artwork in the Shadowscapes Deck is stunning, and is a delight to take in. This deck handles well and, if properly cared for, will last a long time through daily use. It comes with a Guidebook.

The artwork in this deck is absolutely spectacular. Each image aligns beautifully with traditional tarot meanings yet offers a fresh, ethereal perspective that allows you to dive deeply into each card. The detail and complexity within each illustration provide layers of meaning, inviting you to explore and uncover new insights every time you use the deck. It's one of my top three favorite decks, alongside the classic Rider-Waite.

This tarot deck is breathtakingly beautiful. The artwork is mesmerizing and gorgeous. You can intuitively feel the meaning of each card, as the intent the artist put into each image is wonderfully clear. The entire deck has a lovely coherent theme and is very well designed. From an aesthetic viewpoint, this deck is perfection. And as far as craftsmanship is concerned, I have no issue with this deck. Yes, it is printed on cardstock. But it feels like a pretty standard weight to me, much like a deck of common playing cards. As long as you're gentle while shuffling and keep the deck in its box, I don't foresee any issues with it. Yes, it will probably get worn or faded eventually. But such is the nature of life. Very few things withstand the test of time for very long. I think the expectations that some people apparently had for the material of this deck were a little ridiculous. Yes, some tarot decks use a thicker plastic for their cards rather than cardstock. But those decks also usually run you $40-60. So I'm really not sure why anyone thought a $20 deck would be made with those materials. Overall, I am so wonderfully pleased with this deck. I absolutely adore it and I'm so glad I purchased it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is an absolutely beautiful deck! All the reviews were accurate. The details on the cards are stunning and detailed, and can be difficult to take in if you need glasses. I wish the companion book was easy to find/get. The booklet provided does not provide much information and, especially as this is my first deck, I would love to know the deeper meanings from the artist.

I honestly bought these cards primarily for the beautiful artwork. They did not disappoint. I have another deck that is my primary one for use (Ocean Tarot) and I wasn't really expecting to use these cards for readings. I spent a good deal of time sifting through and gazing at each card, finding all the details hidden in each one. My favorite cards artwork wise are Death and Strength (which just so happen to be cards I pull often and resonate with in any deck). I did a few readings with them just to see how it went and they are super accurate for me which kind of surprised me. A lot of decks don't work especially well with me in the long term since I rarely actually use them. To me, many decks tend to be the 'jealous type' and want to be used daily or they get finicky like a pouting child not getting enough attention. But like I said I don't use my cards very often since I only use them for myself and I don't have many questions on the regular. My Ocean deck is incredibly calm and always seems to be accurate despite not getting a whole lot of attention but it's one of the only decks I've come across that is like this. So I was quite surprised when the Shadowscapes deck was pretty relaxed about everything as well. I love these cards and I get so lost in the detail when doing readings sometimes. Makes for a very intuitive deck. 5 Stars.

I love this deck so far - it may become my favorite, and I own dozens. Although a pretty straightforward RWS deck, there are some interesting and delightful impressions derived from the traditional images. I was worried the cards would be too similar/pastel to distinguish them, but in person they have more than enough individual impression to make a good working deck. Very comfortable to read with, and pleasant to explore. My only issue that knocks off a star is that the cards have a curve to them, so will not lay flat or shuffle well. I might try laying them out and putting heavy objects on them, but I should not have to do that. So the ding is just for the QC on the printing/packaging process, the cards themselves are exceptional. I would also wish for an optional larger size to appreciate the truly amazing artwork - there is so much detail and many images you don't notice until you study them a while. I neglected to pick the item that included the book, but will probably order that separately. Highly recommended - I will probably contact the publisher about the curve to this deck, which has little to do with Amazon. I hope they will wear in and flatten out.

I used to read a lots of comments about its art because it always appears in one of the most beautiful decks every year but I never convinced myself to buy it! Until the day I received the deck and held it in my hands! I opened it and I must say “WOW”! I won’t regret buying it!

ネットサーフィンで画像を見つけて一目惚れし、勢いで購入しました！ 実物は色合いがとても繊細で絵柄も幻想的な綺麗さで癒されます。 そしてさらに驚きなことが......。 開封して中を確認していると、真ん中あたりに裏返しのカードが1枚登場。なんだ！？と思って表にしたらカップの5でした。 変なところに入ってしまったのかな？と中の確認を再開すると、再度現れたカップの5....。 なんとカップの5が2枚入っており、計79枚カードがありました！笑 ライダー版のカップの5は怖くて悲しい絵柄で、出ると暗い気持ちになってしまうので、あまり好きなカードではありませんでした。 でも、このデッキのカップの5を初めて見た時は、こぼれたカップではなく、残っているカップに目を向け、前向きに過ごせば大丈夫だと、希望のある明るい気持ちで自然と受け止められました。 こんなハプニングは滅多にないのかもしれませんが、暗い印象を受けるカードがあまりないので、自分を占いたい時や癒されたい時にぜひぜひオススメします。 余談ですが.... 最近思い通りにならないことばかりで、癒しを求めてこのタロットを購入したので、面白いご縁があって何だか嬉しいです。 カップの5は裏返しに入ってたので、逆位置と勝手に解釈して、良い意味合いのキーカードとして受け止めていきます。笑

Mazzo interessante. Offre una visione eterea e mistica del mazzo di tutte le lame (maggiori e minori). Ho regalato una copia ad una cara persona che le ha amate e non è rimasta delusa. La carta è un po’ fine e leggera. Tenderanno sicuramente all’usura ma fa parte del gioco. Sicuramente consigliati.

Compré este mazo en una librería en mi ciudad natal. Desde el comienzo me dieron el gusto de conectar con ellas en una manera más empática y nutritiva. Llevo algún tiempo realizando lecturas para diversas personas. Mi manera de hablar es tajante. Por medio de este mazo me he podido ayudar para decir las cosas con amor y para el mayor beneficio. Las imágenes son bellísimas, etéreas. Cada una cuenta una historia propia y se conecta con el viaje en su totalidad. Excelente compra. La recomiendo mucho.
