UPDATE: Began return process and ordered a second screen while using the faulty one I was sent. Newly sent screen works and looks as it should. Quality control could use a little work, but in the end it is a decent product at a good price. Your mileage may vary. Is it worth the extra funds tied up, and taking the time to install it twice? Maybe not. Just happy it's over.Screen itself looks great and installs perfectly, however there is a grouping of dead pixels in the upper left hand corner. I was going to just live with it, but I found that a 1.5inch horizontal bar mid-way down the screen doesn't respond to touch (think the 4, 5, and 6 number keys when trying to dial a call.)I'd just like a replacement, but amazon is having me take the screen off and send it back for a refund, so there is a big window of time my phone will be inoperable. Kind of a hassle after receiving a faulty screen.

I received this product with it having fingerprints on the front and back. So, right off, it did not look new. I installed it, which was simple, especially since it came as a complete piece including the camera and speakers. The only part I had to add was the fingerprint button on the bottom. After completion, I turn on the phone and get the Apple reboot screen over and over. Do a few additional steps to try and correct this. Nothing would work. Found it to be defective. The return process was easy though. Amazon returns are always easy.

This was my first attempt at replacing a display for an iPhone 7+. This replacement screen is pretty nice, and functions well, although I messed up part of the install and ended up ruining the home button. When transferring the home button in order to maintain the fingerprint ID function, make sure you apply heat to the button assembly to loosen the adhesive that holds the flex cable in place. I ended up trying using a little brute force to remove it and ended up damaging it. That's the most delicate part of the install. I had to replace it with an aftermarket button, so the fingerprint ID no longer works. Oh well. Lesson learned. I have 2 more iPhone 7+ repairs to do and I'll probably use this screen as the replacement as long as its still available.

The proximity sensor doesn't work and the flex cables created that white spot others complained about. I just used some scotch tape to hold it in place before closing the phone up and that issue resolved.I'm a little bummed that the proximity sensor doesn't work (that is the sensor that turns off the screen when you are on a call) so it eats my battery faster and I dial with my face, but it isn't a big enough deal to me to redo the work and wait for an exchanged screen.Other than that, it's a good screen.

The first screen that I received was defective, but I did a return request with an exchange for the another screen replacement and had it shipped the next day, no hassles, the screen is as close as you will get to an original oem apple screen, really bright, super responsive, no pixels whatsoever, the front cam I would go as far as say that takes better pictures than the original cam, the front speaker sounds great, loud when it needs to be and great quality sound whenever having a conversation, over all a great screen for an excellent price, thanks again
