I bought this item to use it in my back yard or front outdoors. I had used few different solar lights before that I used on my deck and yard. I always liked it but due to the different color changing I wanted to give this a try. Even though in a pandemic, my order came in 6 days.I set it up in the day time where it is sunny so that it would charge during the day and as soon as it got dark lights turn on. It was real easy to setup. No additional tool was needed. My other solar lights required screws to be installed. So this one was very easy to set up.After few days of use, between rain and heat it seemed like the lights were durable during the heat and was not effected with the rain.I really like the way it looks like a Globe and the strings lights inside it. Changes multi colors and gives a bright light at nights. Power goes on all night if it is staying in the sunlight. I really love it with all the colors. It changes colors fast but it is very relaxing.It is perfect for outdoor lighting, walkway or backyard, deck.I highly recommend this item.

They look great, I bought a set of four, now using in their second summer. But only three of the four made through the first summer. One seemed to have an air or water leak and condensation was evident inside the globe. Soon the light failed but outside the thirty day warranty. I would order one if that was an option, however I do not see such. No batteries so that is not the problem.

I ordered two sets of these fun outdoor solar lights and was very happy with the "show" they put on at night. However, after having them for four months now and after some rainy weather, one by one they quit working. I have only 2 out of 8 lights working now and I think for the amount of money spent ($80 total on them), they should still be working.

To Steffenie: To change the battery which is under the solar panel. Hold the base and turn the clear top counterclockwise. Do it very slow and DO NOT BREAK THE SINGLE WIRE COMING OUT OF THE BASE. Don't worry any all the stranded leds coming out. It's easier if they all cone out. Get a Phillips screwdriver and take the screws out at the 11 and 5 o'clock position. Gently lift up the solar panel and the it you will find a1.2v 600mah ni-hm battery. Make sure its about half charged. You need a special battery charger. DO NOT USE AN ALKALINE CHARGER!! Put the battery in and screw the solar panel down: DO NOT BREAK THE WIRE GOING TO THE SOLAR PANEL. NeXT take the wire with leds and start pushing them into the plastic ball. You can use a pencil eraser to start pushing the wire and lights where you want then to be in the ball. Then screw the ball clockwise onto the base slowly until snug. Take the assembled Ball to see it it lites up in a dark closet. If it does I do one more final step. Get a tube or clear windshield gasket sealant (sold by amazon) and place a small bead between the top of black base and bottom of plastic ball and let dry about 3 hrs., Don't worry if you have to change the battery in the future. The sealant peels off. NO SOLAR LIGHT OPERATES WITHOUT A BATTERY! !I am an electonic technical of over 40 years and I torn one apart and found it under the solar Companies have seek ways on where to hide some of them. If you don't believe me dismantel one your self, follow my instructions you'll find the battery

They are stunning, until they’re not. Four worked when I got them, then 3 died within a month. The 4th is still going. Not sure if it will die too. It’s too bad as they are fun to look at.
