Works great, needs some settings dialed in to work with Midway boards, but no issues after that
Works with my SNES and Genesis when plugged into the component inputs with my HD Retrovision cables. When first using this on an arcade board, had flickering problems with my Mortal Kombat boards. One thing I didn't realize until I did research is the menu down button is an Auto Sync button when the menu is not on the screen. Once I realized that, I plugged it back into my Mortal Kombat, hit the auto sync, and after about 5 seconds, worked just fine. Only thing is I did have to turn brightness and contrast up a little high to match the brightness of a regular monitor (or mame on a PC plugged into the same monitor). As far as quality, would have been nice if this came with a connector for the RGBS pins. Ive seen different brands of the same board come with this, but the one I got didn't.Also one minor concern is the heat sink on the main chip on the board does get a tad hot. I recommend the manufacturer put a bigger heatsink or a fan on a future revision. I may install a fan with this setup when I use it.One final note: If you are using this on a Midway board (Mortal Kombat, NBA Jam, etc) and getting a frozen screen, go into the board's menu, geometry settings, and set the V Position setting to 28 or higher. Due to the Midway boards running at a 54.3hz signal, this device doesn't like a V Position set lower than 28.

Sucks on its own, but GREAT when modded
If you're looking to buy this board and use it unmodded - don't. The picture quality stinks and there's crazy lag on the unit. If you're buying this board, I assume you're looking to mod it with GBS-Control.If so, this board is perfectly acceptable. Currently using it to upscale component video from my PS2, and the results are crisp with no noise. If you are to buy this board, keep in mind to buy a good 5v power supply, have a way to route the audio (board only has video connectors), and have all the hardware on hand to complete the mod.
