They last and last
I have these lights on either side of my house and they are incredibly bright exactly what I wanted. They don’t mess around. I’ve had them for several years and would buy them again.

Third or fourth set I ordered!
These solar lights are fantastic. This is about my third or fourth set ordering. I have palm trees in the back of my house that I like having lit up at night. I love the fact that they’re a warm yellowy light and not a bright white light, this was the look I was going for. They are very simple to use. They suggest charging them up in the sunlight for about 24 hours before turning them on which is exactly what I do. Once the 24 hours is up there’s a little switch on the light, you press once for a dimmer light and twice for a brighter light. I always use these lights on the brightest setting. During the summer months these lights stay lit well past the time we go to bed, in the winter months not so much since it gets dark so early. They stay lit for approximately six-seven hours once it gets dark. This is not a big deal for me since were not outside that late in the winter months anyways. These lights usually last me somewhere around 18 to 24 months. I believe you can replace the battery on these but since they’re such a great price I just throw the old ones out and get a new set. These lights are the only brand I’ll ever purchase since they put off a nice bright light, they last pretty long and they’re offered at a great price. I should also add that they withstood several hurricanes, so they are most definitely weatherproof. We have a pond behind our house and with the last hurricane (Hurricane Ian) the water came all the way up to our lanai so these lights were more than halfway submerged in water and they still kept working without any difficulty!

Good light, but could be even better with just a few small design changes.
What's in the box: - solar light head (pre-assembled for you) - plastic ground stake (it just slides in the bottom) - mounting screws and drywall inserts (small plastic bag of parts) Pros: Appears to be made of quality materials and has decent construction. (We will see how they hold up over time.) Light is decently bright enough to illuminate a wall, fence, bush, or lower part of a tree trunk Lights automatically / slowly change colors while running for a dramatic lighting impact. They operate all night. When I wake up in the morning, they are still on and running. (We will see if this is still true after months/years of use.) Cons: Adjustment - There is no way to rotate the light away from the plane of the solar panel. In basic terms: the solar panel must point towards the sun to charge (obviously), but this also means that the light must also point in the same direction. It can only be adjusted up and down, not side to side. If they added just one more adjustment knob on either on the panel or the light it would make this a perfect light to use in any location. I'd gladly pay an extra buck or two for this feature. Washout - Often, more than one LED is on which causes the colors to blend and essentially become white light. If the internal controller limited the overlap of the lighting sequence, the depth of the color change would be far more dramatic and less "white" looking. My guess is that they did this to ensure that it was perceived to be "bright" enough. However, I prefer deep, dramatic, colorful landscape lighting to provide interesting accents in the yard. If illumination and brightness is what someone wants, they probably shouldn't be buying a colored light in the first place. My two cents. Angle - The lights project a somewhat narrow beam angle. It will throw a circle of light about 5 feet in diameter at a distance of about 15 feet. There is some light that sprays wider than this, but a majority of the light is cast into the central region. For most plant, bush, wall illuminations, I prefer a "wash" light with a wide (90 degree) beam angle. However, for lighting up trees trunks, pillars, or posts, an narrow beam angle is preferred. One solution: they could offer a very inexpensive plastic frosted "lens cover" that just snaps into place allowing people the option of narrow beam (no frosted lens) or wide beam (with frosted lens). That way, one type of light fixture can be used for a wide variety of lighting needs. That's easily worth $1 more on the price.

Best of the 4 Brands I have Tried
I bought these lights four years ago and most are still working. In recent years I tried several other cheaper lights thinking they are all pretty much the same. The other lights are less than two years old and at least half have failed. These lights are brighter. last longer and can function in spots that have more shade during the day.

These solar powered lights are exceptional, they've been in use for 4+ years, still work like new.
I purchased a set of these 4 years ago aside from recently needing to re-coat (painted with satin clear) the solar panels as the old coating dried up and was flaking off, these little spot lights are worth the money. They have two light intensity settings, the low setting has been sufficient to suit my needs. When I purchased my set they were offered in soft white and bright white. I opted for the soft white. Looking at the light when lit it appears yellowish but the light that's cast doesn't appear yellow. Initially I thought about returning them for the bright white, but I actually like the softer hue/tint.I installed one to illuminate my flag pole and the other to illuminate the stoop outside my shed doors. They STILL operate as they did NEW. The mount broke on one that was mounted on the side of the house, a large Woodpecker perched on it and broke it. The original wall mount wasn't broken, it's still attached to the lamp, the arm holding the solar panel broke. The lights have worked so well and have lasted longer than any other solar powered outdoor lighting I've ever owned (I'm no Spring Chicken), I couldn't toss the broken light, so I decided to repair it. To repair it I made a mount that I molded out of a bit of aluminum and strengthened it with some epoxy. I replaced the wiring between the solar panel and lamp as the original had been damaged when the light broke. I soldered a 6 foot section of bell wire between the two so I could have more flexibility when mounting the set, the original setup makes for an easier install but can limit mounting locations as either the lamp doesn't quite illuminate the desired spot or the solar panel placement isn't ideal for capturing the suns rays. This flaw isn't tough to live with, but now I can mount the lamp anywhere and position the solar panel for optimal sun exposure.

These work well but deteriorate in bright sunlight over time.
Anyone can write reviews on new products and sometimes I do but it's nice to see reviews after a product has been well used. These lights are now two years old as I purchased them in June of 2018 and started using them. I really like these spotlights as they create a nice bright spotlight effect if well charged on a sunny day. The color is nice and the lights stayed on for about 6 hours after dark which wasn't too bad. For the price and what you get I probably would have given this product 4.5 stars when newly purchased. I live in California and the sun is very intense in the summer and temperatures reach 110 degrees or more on hot blistering days. So, after two years how do I feel about these lights? If you refer to the pictures I've attached you will see that the surface layer of the solar panels has deteriorated and peeled off. The clear plastic covering on the LEDs has discolored a yellowish tint and has become more opaque so the intensity of the light has decreased compared to the first year I used them. I think it has come to the point where I may replace them soon as a result of these issues. However, it doesn't mean that I couldn't continue to use them as they do still function. They now stay on for about 3 hours after dark and are less intense than when new. I've shown pictures of 2 of the 4 I bought new and the one's that are not shown have not deteriorated as badly but follow the same kind of wear. In winter months they light-up only on sunny days they are well charged and last only for an hour or two and on overcast days they don't charge well. Overall they still work OK in winter months. Two of my lights broke off of the stake because they are cheap plastic material but only after they were bumped or knocked - and they still work but not with the stake. In conclusion, these lights work well for 2 years in hot and sunny climates but may last longer if you live in a more moderate climate. For the relatively affordable price they may be worth replacing every 2 years but I haven't yet decided what to replace mine with. It does seem a bit wasteful that they last only 2 years but plastic doesn't hold up well to intense sunlight radiation. In the end I gave it 3 stars because while they work well the first year they fade pretty quickly in the second and probably will have to replace them soon.

Cool white vs warm white - see the difference
I’ve been using this brand of solar lights for years and they continue to be one of my favorites. I use them for uplighting trees and around the house, and they give off great light. The batteries charge surprisingly quickly during the day, and I love that there are two brightness settings. I recently switched from the cool white to the warm white, and I’ll be posting pictures showing the difference in color. The warm white looks so much better with my exterior lighting and gives the house a more polished, elevated look. They’re long-lasting, reliable, and such a great value for the price. I highly recommend.

UPDATE...TALK ABOUT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
ORIGINAL REVIEW in October I'm a happy Amazon shopper, and was so glad to find these easy to install lights. And, the price was very fair. I bought them on January 1st, 2021 and it's now October, 2021 and I wish I could say I was just as happy. My purpose was to light up the front flower bed and our house number and I have to say, I was pretty darn proud of my find, and how well, the lights worked. Adjustable, dim and bright options...the perfect product. BUT, NOW THEY'VE QUIT AND I HAVE A DARK YARD. SOOOO disappointing. I gave four stars to all the features, but if the lights don't work, then I guess four stars is waaaay to generous. I read reviews that said customer service is good, so I'm hopeful that will be my experience. Watch for my update, as I will let you know if the company was able to help me, too. UPDATE November 26th I wrote an email to the company on their website about my malfunctioning lights...but there was a snafu in the "submit" option on their site. SOOO...I I wrote a new email directly to [email protected]. In a day or so, I got a response from STEVEN LAU. He said he was sorry I had difficulty and he would send free of charge two lights to replace mine that quit working. The note was not signed by Mr. Lau, but rather by someone named "Cruz". Regardless, I wrote back with a thank you, since I'm found that all positive notes are way more successful. Sure enough, I received two brand new lights, charged them as directed and they are now lighting up my yard. I couldn't be happier with the company's PR and rather quick response time considering the time difference. My suggestion to anyone who has had a light that quit working...write an email using the info I provided. above.

Better than expected
+ The light seems to work even without much daylight - The on off button doesn’t tell you when it is on or off, and you only know for certain when the light comes on that evening

Lights that don't work
I have had the lights charging in the garden for 48 hrs and neither work at all. What a joke. No instructions and a switch on the solar panel that does not indicate whether it is on low, high or off.
