True stereo into iPad finally.
Works well taking stereo output from pc or sound module into iPad. Biggest fear was that because of the two input Jack's I'd need to separate my output into two cables panned left and right but thankfully that wasn't the case. Only real complaint is the cable is so thick and inflexible that plugging it into my iPad and trying to keep it actually near the iPad in a small space is impossible. The 3 foot long cable wants to be straight. Yes you can charge iPad with this plugged in and USB plugged into this device. Even though iPad says it isn't charging... Overall basically a much better all around audio input interface than my irig2 hd which I was disappointed seems to be mono only. This is, yes, true stereo into iOS gsrageband or other apps.

Unique product for mobile audio
Well thought-out product, and very flexible for audio on the go with a laptop. Need to keep an eye on the mic gain level though with electret condensers. Gets a little buzzy/noisy after the 1 o'clock position with the stereo electret condenser mics I own. Not a problem though with line in or 48v phantom powered condenser mics or my Shure SM57. Great product and support!

Great product for recording a song alone
Great product for recording a song alone; for all those who wish to, I successfully recorded my drumset with the two inputs, creating several effective demos for pre-studio session player familiarization. Top work Sonoma.

small, simple, super functional
This interface is perfect for my recording needs. Small, simple, and functional. The build quality is not amazing, but for the price and niche it's definitely the best interface I could find. Highly recommended!

the analyser program indicates a rise in level of high frequencies like 16 and 20kHz
Works well for my purpose which is to connect a professional B&K measurement microphone to my iPAD. For some reason, the analyser program indicates a rise in level of high frequencies like 16 and 20kHz, something I don't see with the built-in iPAD mic. I also connected two B&K condenser microphones powered by external 48V phantom power. It works well, but for high sound levels I need to use a 20dB pad before going into the unit. I would have preferred a dedicated line- and mic. input. A combination of both is showing a trade-off in S/N for the line level input. But anyway, it is a useful device for my purpose.

There are easier ways to do this...
This thing sucks. Bottom line. My dad bought this for me and apparently he said this model is brand new in time for Christmas. The workmanship is awful...panels not screwed in all the way and rubber anti-slip soles peeling off as soon as the box is opened, and it's made of low grade plastic as well. The interface when used with an iPhone is atrocious, and it took 20 minutes just to get the thing to work. If I could give it zero stars I would. There are way easier ways to record. Use a 1/4" to USB cable and connect a few effects pedals and plug it all into a computer.
